To my understanding mesh coils tend to be juice drinkers at almost any resistance and I am guessing yours is on the lower side. So I'd imagine getting higher resitance coils and also yes, turning down the wattage may help. Some. Again, I don't really know your device but if it's sort of some pod thing without the ability to really do much to the power, well, IDK. Etc.

You could get a small MTL tank and vape high nicotine and consume far less juice. Whether you would enjoy that or not is kind of anyone's guess.

I have an Ijoy Diamond mini and I’m noticing that I’m going through a lot of liquid in a very short time, which is more than when I started using device. I’m using a DMB mesh (0.18 ohm) 40-80 watt coil. Is there anything I can do to slow the usage of the juice?
Thank you
Afraid that is designed as a cloud machine. Clouds require liquid. The lower the resistance, and the higher the power, the greater the clouds... and the more liquid it is gonna drink.

You can try, raising the resistance (using higher ohm coils), and lowering power; but clouds, and/or flavor is likely to suffer. The only other choice I can see is to get a different tank... preferably one that uses higher resistance coil heads. MTL (vs. DTL) atties generally use less liquid as well.

SMOK, as a brand, seems to be mostly all about the clouds. They care little about juice economy. If you don't care about clouds, you would be better served, looking at other brands. The power module (the "mod") is okay. I would just be looking at other tanks. But, that's just me. :)

Big cloud good flavor DL attys simply use huge amounts of juice. Clouds are made of juice after all. Most DL vapers like that wind up making DIY juice for the cost savings. With a higher resistance you will make smaller clouds but also use less juice.

There is restricted DL which uses less airflow a higher resistance coil and produces smaller clouds. For more juice savings yet you can get a true MTL tank which is more restricted yet, and you will wind up sucking vapor into your Mouth before inhaling.

Resistance has little to do with juice consumption. With the right parameters a high resistance coil can burn through just as much juice as a low resistance coil. Power on the other hand does influence juice consumption.

Mesh coils are low in mass with a large surface area. The low mass means they have near 0 ramp up time vaporizing juice almost instantly. And the larger surface area vaporizes that much more juice in comparison to a typical coil. You can lower your wattage which in turn will decrease juice consumption but not by a large amount. In order to achieve this you will need a coil with less surface area that operates at a lower wattage.
