I've been smoking for more than 40 years. I smoke somewhere from 1.5 to 2 packs a day. I've tried my daughter's Blu, and I keep getting juice on my lips and tongue. Even from the disposable. I tried my other daughter's SmokeStik, and I didn't get juice at all. I'm wanting to switch to e-cigarettes, so I'm curious. How do I keep juice off my mouth? Should I just go with a SmokeStik? Or am I doing something wrong with the Blu?

Yes, with an automatic you have to hit it to make it work in the first place. Depending on atty/carto health, it may not be enough, so you draw on it longer/harder. With a manual, you press the button, perhaps let it cook for one second to get it up to temp, then draw.

What you prefer, is what you prefer! Some like automatics, because they are physically the smallest, and can look the most like a cig, despite their lessor battery life. If you don' need a cig-a-like, manual can be better for some.

...as has been said...with an auto batt, it controls you...with a manual, you control it...do you hang the auto out your mouth or hold it in your hand while taking a puff...with the manual, you just hold it with your finger on the button...doesn't take long to get used to...the choice is yours............

I actually got my first ecig a long time ago, about two years ago or so. And to be honest I think what turned me off was the same thing. And the auto batts didn't help. Sometimes no matter what you do the atomizer will leak.. Rarely, at least for the newbies it will.

Problem was when it leaks, it would leak into the battery, which would leak in the battery, which isn't sealed and make the trigger sticky, which would cause me to pull even harder to get the battery working and some vapor in my lungs. This would result into juice in my mouth! Ewww.

But then my friend turned me on to this Ego-T. Manual battery and tanks instead of carts, and even though they are not the greatest, the manual batteries make it easy to transition to a slower drag. No issues yet!

Too be honest I love it so much I want more! That is why I ordered my cartomizers! And I can't wait but the ego-t is a great unit to start off with! I know I'm just a newb and my opinion may not mean as much. But I just thought I would throw in what is working for me now. I'm only 15 days in but hey its a start!
