I am really new to e-cig but had some concerns over the variety of suppliers out there.

Mainly - how are they producing the juice? I'd imagine there would be all sorts of varying quality.

My concern is that this is something being inhaled into my body. How do you know what all is in the juice or possible contamination?

For example: Nothing against the chinese suppliers or those that promote them but I think back to the lead content in some imported products in the recent past. Other similar examples too of imported products that were contaminated with poisons.

I've yet to see a supplier discuss their quality control and purity standards for the juice they are selling. To me this would be a really important component of deciding on what to buy and from whom. Especially since there's no regulation and people just sell whatever they get their hands on?

The two American juice makers/suppliers I've looked at so far do talk about their quality standards and disclose their ingredients: Johnson Creek and Vermont Vapor.

I can empathize with your concerns, given the recent problems with Chinese export products. My first and only juice order so far was with an American maker.
