Juice reacting with silver nr wire

Thats what I think ,The wick on Terninator C is black all down the sides, if I use only the Term,( silver nr wire) at the end of the day I

cough and the next morning im coughing, there is a bit of black residue in the mouthpiece when swabed with Q-tip, so Im going to

switch NR wire , only saw nickel wire , is that what I want? Its diy menthol in the tank

The black is oxidation, which could be caused by your juice. Heat is another factor that increases oxidation speed. Is your juice causing the oxidation? I believe it probably is. Nickel is less reactive so it would be a better choice. Nickel is my goto NR wire and it still oxidizes. Probably not as fast as the silver, I have never tried silver since I have a whole roll of nickel.
