I am in a total juice slump, nothing tastes great to me anymore. I have some juices that I've been vaping that are still ok but nothing new that I've bought has been impressive. I need more flavor, more sweet, in essence a punch in the mouth with flavor.

My current juices are Cold Fusion Galil, it's a hazelnut creme brulé & its been my ADV for months. Even that is starting to lose it's luster for me but I always have a mod loaded with it. Next is Teleos Remixed Pound Cake, love it but a total wick/coil gunker, have to rewick every day. At the moment I'm working my way through some Beantown Soul Custardy, some day's it tastes pretty good other day's I pick up nothing but egg notes & I want to gag. I also have Knees of Bees from a semi local vendor which is pretty good but since they are two hour's away I won't get more until I'm in that area again. I used to love Cuttwood Sugar Drizzle but that gets a strong overpowering cinnamon taste once it steeps a little & I can't take it. I tried Boss Reserve & it's OK but not quite there for me. I also have some Bomb Sauce Veruca, a nice blueberry with supposed cinnamon crumble & icing I don't taste.

I ordered 10 flavors from Mt Baker, all max VG, no flavor shots & all but one is gross to me after steeping for a little over 3 weeks. Total bust for me qith MBV. Next up I ordered from Ohm's Vapes, pretty good at first but light on flavor after a little less than 2 weeks of steeping & there seems to be a flavor note in all their juices that tastes just a little off to me. Those will continue to steep, 10 flavor's, all max VG & mostly custard's. I just ordered from ITC max VG with flavor boosted & considering Allusion Vapor next but my mail order purchases have been mostly a fail so far.

I vape squonk boxes only, mostly mech's, dual coils around .4. I've tried some of the juices on my VW squonker up to 60 watts with no real improvement so I tend to settle in around 35-40 watts. I can't blame a tank for muted flavors but I wonder if the max VG isn't doing me any flavor's?

So blah, blah, blah, I need some bold juice recommendations. Custard's, sweet creamy fruits or fruit custard's & dessert or bakery flavor's. Where should I go next?

Hi @fishwater -- have you read through this thread : Best gourmet ejuice vendors #2 - The journey continues!
Custards and desserts or coffees are also my thing. The sweeter and bolder, the better it is to me. I smoked for 40 years, I need BOLD.
My current favorite custard is Daft Spunk from Sleeping Dragon Vapor. I've vaped it for over a year, after trying every custard out there, and I am still in love with it. It is the only juice I buy in 120 ML bottles. home (Use code ECF15 for 15% off, ask for a sample of something else in the comments, just don't forget the Daft Spunk!)
For coffees, beverages, fruits, etc you really should try Ahlusion, if you have not already. There is always a sale, and you will see the sale price once you put a juice in your cart. Ahlusion LLC - Home
May of us also love The Plume Room. The Plume Room | Award winning eLiquid for picky vapers! They have a flavor of the week that changes every monday evening. 30 ML bottles are $10.50 during the sale.
Another great one is Stash ELiquids: Stash e-Liquids - Premium eLiquids in Max VG - Hand Crafted I love their Southbound and PB&J.
I am sure I am leaving out some - others can give you their favorites. If you will go to the Gourmet Thread in the first link and give us a good idea of what you like and are looking most for, you will get some great suggestions! Hope you find some new loves!

@fishwater Have you thought about vaping Unflavored? You know, give your taste buds a break. Sort of like drinking water for a bit then drinking juice. You could see an improvement in taste. Just a thought. I use Unflavored about 70-80% of the time and even my low flavored DIY have a nice strong taste when I vape them after Unflavored. Especially would help if you can't taste things as well anyway. There would be no disappointment in flavor. ;) Hope this helps.

Unless you have issues with PG i would scrap the all VG juices and go with something along the lines of 50/50 or even 70/30 PG/VG .

I get the best flavor vaping much lower wattage than 35 or 40 watt's and prefer RTA's vaping under 20 watts actually , high wattage vaping always mutes flavors to me .

I have had the same problem in the last week where I got sick of all my flavors and could not find anything

exciting or satisfying.........

What did it for me was to mix Lorranns "Peppermint" and "Anise"---which tastes like licorice and a little

menthol for throat hit and put 50 percent vg from Walmart and 50 percent PG from Tractor Supply Store and

this did me wonders...........just a suggestion.......

Thanks for all the suggestions! Nicoticket is on my to try list for sure. I also considered trying unflavored for a while but I truly enjoy the flavor aspect of vaping so except to clean up my palette for a little I'd rather not.

I ended up going to my local B&M to sample some flavor's today. They have a bunch of flavor's in carto's to try but I never taste anything with those so I decided to take a mod with fresh cotton so I could drip instead. The one guy I always talk too kept recommending Treats ejuice & at first I wasn't getting anything with the car to so I tried it in my dripper. Wow! Winner! I was hesitant to buy 120 ml of anything but since that's the only way it's sold I finally decided to grab some after trying a couple of other flavors. I grabbed that & some blueberry froyo that he also raves about, another winner for me. So one trip & I ended up with two solid juice's finally. Came home loaded one squonker up with Treats & another with Froyo. Feel's good to be back in the game considering how bummed I was this past week or so.

So it was just a juice change that did it , that was easy lol. Unfortunately you will end up being in the same position before you know it but at least you will know what the answer will be.

Yep it helped & no doubt I'll be in the same situation again but maybe laying off the custard's for a little while may help. If not changing flavor profiles from what I'd typically pick out is the answer for me.

I still can't get over how pronounced these two juice's are to me, it's like I just started vaping all over again.

One of the most important things i have learned is having a wide variety of different juices with very different flavors , if you vape one type of flavor too long it doesn't matter what it is , it will get old at some point, even if you love it.

The sweet and candy type flavors are my favorite. A local store had a boxing day sale so I just picked up the following (after being on Mt Baker for a while which is their cheapest)

The Standard - Thumper: It's blueberry-grape. One of the first juices I ever got and have found few like it. Only my 2nd bottle and haven't opened it yet but probably the least sugary of the juices I got. Maybe no sugar at all actually but sweet with great flavor and great smell cracking open the bottle now bringing back memories.

Carnival: The store's own flavor, blue cotton candy. 1st time grabbing it. Put some into my tank at the store with the RBA with an old wick and used it to start one of the new coils I got there. Almost as cheap as the Mt Baker. Decent blue cotton candy flavor for the price. Speaking of cotton candy Flavour Snobz Berry Blast might be one of the best flavors and especially sweet flavors I've tried. It was blue cotton candy (maybe pink too) and strawberry, and also a bit of that grape bubblegum tape flavor, and would change based on the watts.

G2 - Blue (Raspberry) Pop: As the name says, it tastes like a blue raspberry lollypop. Rather unique compared to other flavors I've tried, captures that sweet blue lollypop taste. Like Thumper my 2nd time getting it because I loved it the first time. Put some in the tank after I tried the Carnival so a mixture of Blue Pop, Carnival, and whatever remaining Thug Juice (Mt Baker, Supposed to be grape-watermelon-menthol but really just tastes strong like menthol) was in the tank from when I walked in the store and I was using the RBA with the wick old and somewhat burnt but that blue raspberry lollypop flavor came through clean right away. When I started a new coil I had a bit of this in the tank and filled the rest with Carnival for a nice blue flavor combo.

FIZZ - Fresa: It's candy strawberry with a cola fizz. Kind of like a carbonated grape soda but strawberry flavor. Or maybe a strawberry freezie in soda form. 1st time trying it description looked good and the guy at the counter recommended it. On my 1st tank of it now and lovin that candy strawberry soda flavor.

The next 3 I got I have yet to try but are meant for the sweet tooth lover.

Lost Art
- Gummy Glu: I believe it's supposed to be sour patch kids, sour keys and gummy worms. Smells very strong, sweet and fruity like sour gummies, has got me wanting to try it now.

-Space Rocks: Supposed to be strawberry-kiwi pop rocks candy flavor if I recall correctly. Just opened the bottle right now and I can detect the kiwi-strawberry smell but strangely the first thing I noticed was it smelled like "pop rocks" taste if that makes any sense. Interested to try it and see how that plays out now, perhaps a carbonation type effect.

-Mystery Flavor: From what I hear this flavor is meant to be like the White Air Heads candy, some say white freezie. Either way I'm down. Smell much more muted than the other Lost Art bottles I just cracked open, having a hard time detecting it.

Oh and I didn't grab it today but have twice before and was thinking of doing it again but wanted to try others

Underground - SZRP : Tastes like grape nerds. If you think you'd like that I'd recommend it. Very good flavor with an interesting texture. Some may love it some may hate it some may get sick of it.

I get the exact same problem every once in a while and have found the same solution :) !

If I have time i go to my local B&M vape shop and ask them what new stuff they have in .Its very important to have a good local vendor who knows you and your tastes and can make good recommendations.

Also,in my case at least & since it's my priority, I need a shop that carries a lot of different premium liquids and brands, not just their own in-store-brand or big name-low-quality Chinese-type liquids ;) .

Ive also started ordering lots of samples online, different sorts of juices and dif brands so as to always have a variety of "new" flavors to try.

I also have gone through pages & pages on the Gourmet-ejuice thread ;) to pick up some new brands, ideas etc. even though over the years Ive now spent so much on various liquids that ive ended up hating on arrival :( that Ive become pretty wary of ordering a 22$ juice simply on a description ;) .....

Five years and havent found any better solutions ....

I need the big bold flavors too! I love The Plume Room juices, especially their banana pudding and Burley & Candy, and think they would be a great choice for you. Seduce Juice's Snake Venom and Snake Oil are very flavorful and delicious, and I recommend them both highly, though for me, Snake Venom is a bit more delicious and bold than Snake Oil. EC Blend's Dragon's Delight and Dragon's Apple with double extra flavor are always very tasty to me, as is their Key Lime with extra flavor and honey as the sweetener. I agree with Nanny's recommendation of Sleeping Dragon Vapors Daft Spunk. It's amazing! Suicide Bunny's The O.B. is very good and full of bold flavor. Vapewell Supply's Tao is a big taste of toasted coconut that I can't seem to get enough of, and Gothic Vapor's Cinister with double extra flavor is very good too.

Please come back to this thread and let us know which new juices you try and like. I'd love to hear about them.

Have you tried Beard Vape Co # 32. It's a cinnamon powder sugar funnel cake. Whenever I have vape tounge I still taste that also Fog Mafia Vendetta. It's a cannoli flavor that's big bold and taste exactly like it. Two of my fav flavors that I always taste no matter what

I'm giving you a "like" just for having a "Mets" logo in your avatar lol.

Apologies if anyone already suggested this but P.O.E.T. amaretto nitecap is a great juice. You can pick some up at vape revolution. Veperev.com
