I agree with Drozd. "Room Temp" (72-75deg F) that is dark and constant is best. If it's in UV light it will yellow and could taste "off". And air-tight so that it doesn't oxidize (although the bottle has its own air and keeps the remainder out, so it's still going to, but moving air is worse if the bottle/carts are exposed to it uncapped)

Me? I store mine in the safe. My comfortable living space is 65-79. No one/thing is going to get into the stash 'cause it "smells good", and it's fire/water resistant and reasonably air-tight.

Mine are in a black pelican case with the pressure purge valve..and I kinda suck the air out of the case through the valve with the vacume tube after I get 2 or 3 6ml bottles out every week or 2..case is kept in the basement workshop where it's a constant cool and where the animals and kids don't go

My stuff, juices, carts and... stuff... live on a table in magnificent organization next to cool air coming in, in a stack of craft boxes, covered with a towel to keep 'em dark.
I dunno what I'll do in the summer - I also read somewhere that refrigeration degrades nicotine. A cooler (at this point, coolers) would be a nuisance...

Leaford, could you weigh in on this? I didn't submit an answer to the poll because I just don't know, and don't want a guess to look like advice. Do carts also love the cool and dark? Was recently wondering if I should have taken them all out of their boxes...

And also on length of life after purchase in general?

hmmm....
so if i take mine back out of the fridge, do you think there is any harm in letting the temp settle back down to "room temp?"
