In the store I vaped Suicide Bunny 'Derailed' and it gave a nice mild bakery / cookie sort of taste taste with just a slight sweet hint of cinnamon and banana on the exhale.

So I buy 30ml. I vape it at home on my Coolfire 4 with subtank nano OCC vertical .5ohm coild at 30W.

It just has an overpowering sickly chemical banana taste on inhale and exhale with none of the warm bread / cookie / pastry taste the one in the store had on the inhale and none of the mild sweetness on the exhale, just a totally overpowering sickly banana taste from start to finish.

Zero nicotine.

Does it need steeping? The one in store tasted great, was on a nautilus mini, but no reason it should taste worse on my set up.

This is literally unvapable and I've just committed a brand new coil to it.

I hope steeping it will help, but only thought you had to steep nicotine juice and I only get zero nic for my sub ohm vaping.....

I don't think it's the nicotine that needs steeping, it's certain flavors. Some are good right away, mostly fruits (maybe not banana! LOL!), but bakery flavors take longer. I'd let it sit for a week and then try it again, and if it's still not good, let it sit another week. I recently made one that sounds very similar to your juice, except without banana, and it was "OK" after a day or two, but really came into its own after about a week. Some flavors just need to sit a bit.

They probably had month or two old in that tank and bottle they use for testing............

thanks guys, will leave cap off overnight and then leave in a cupboard for a couple of weeks and then re-visit it.

I bought some Spacejam Eclipse the other day and that was great to go straight away. Maybe because it's a more simple flavour? Same with my Hangseng liquids.... They are more simple blends I guess. Derailed is very strongly flavoured.... Or maybe the Spacejam had been stored for longer after bottling when i bought it....

Okay will do as advised above with the SB liquid and see how it is after.

Cheers for the advice

Checked out some youtube reviews of that juice, they all said very strong, not an ADV by any means....

I'll let it sit with the top off for a whole day to really let some of the flavouring evaporate, I literally feel like I vaped a hundred bananas after less than one 3ml subtank....

It would be okay at literally half the flavour.... eff me it's strong tasting.... hope it calms down after a whiles as I bought 30ml at £17....

Some juices are not meant to be vaped at low resistance and high watts. Some juice taste better than others in those scenarios and some will taste better at higher resistance and lower watts. Just my 2 cents and my findings.

This is VERY true! :)

I fall prey to this often. When I go to conventions, meets, and sometimes just a random store, I end up with juices that I liked there and don't like when I get home. Went on vacation last year, bought $140 in flavors from a random shop. Nearly all of them are still sitting in a draw. I think after I've tasted a variety of flavors, I don't really taste things accurately anymore and something that's vaguely good seems awesome. I'm a bit miserly so it has to be really, really bad for me to throw it out. If you find a way of overcoming one's own psychological bait and switch, let me know. LOL!

What I've learned is when tasting juices at vape stores if you try them on their little clearos it mutes the taste drastically. It hides the bad tastes too. Then you buy it and try it on a bigger tank and yuck, nothing like what you tasted in the store. Now if I go juice testing in a store I take a dripper to get a better feel for the real flavor. It makes a huge difference and saves a ton of money. I've bought a few dozen that tasted horrid after getting them home. I make my own juice now but on occasion I still buy a bottle. I never trust the taste in those cheap clearos.

I can confirm as well that juices in those "old" disposable clearomizers in stores taste better! I was so baffled when I first discovered it I thought there is something wrong with me..

I thought our huge sub-ohm boxes and devices are supposed to put out more flavour?
The more flavor aspect is due to more vapor. But some are so airy that they dilute the flavor.

It doesn't taste better in those old cheap tanks. It just mutes the bad tastes then when you try it in more advanced setups you taste the bad stuff.
