It's in an old juice bottle. I can't say from where as I washed the label off long ago. Unfortunately, my camera is FUBAR and I'm looking at getting a new one. The juice started out with a slight yellow tinge. I just added some PG and a little VG. This is the way I made all my bases for the last year with no problems. Usually my nic is clear, but this batch arrived with the yellow tinge, maybe that has something to do with it?

is it a clear bottle?
do you keep it in the light?
open?

It is a clear bottle, closed, but kept in the normal light of the room, not sunlight. I don't taste any difference, but it does make all my lighter coloured juices eventually take on that reddish tinge. I still have some of this nicotine locked away deep in my freezer, I hope it doesn't mean it's all gone bad.

Yellowing is normal. That's just the nicotine oxidizing from contact with light and/or air. It's not a problem.

Red coloring would most likely mean the nicotine is breaking down into nornicotine or the supplier actually used it in the juice instead of or in addition to pure nicotine. In either case, I'd toss the red stuff as it's either gotten contaminated or was poorly made in the first place.

Take the other out of the freezer and see if it turns red too. If it doesn't, it at least eliminates the juice as the problem.

I'd also lose the juice bottle and get a amber glass chemical bottle to store your nic in. Preferably one with a self sealing cap so you can use a syringe to extract what you need out of it without having to open the bottle and exposing it to air and contaminates.
