Why do you feel that a juice that cost less than 2.00 to make is worth 20....25 or even 30.00$ I just don't get it. I can make a 30ml 24mg bottle with 2 flavors for 1.63 why the absurd markup.

Well, I'm not a juice vendor. But the better vendors spend a lot of time and money perfecting their juice blends. As a DIYer, I can't tell you how many bottle of juice I've just poured down the drain because they weren't even salvageable.

It's kinda like paying $9-10/bottle for really good beer. Yeah, I can make beer at home cheaper, but it's going to take me a LOT of experimentation and garbage 'beer' to get the same kind of results.

If we want good home brew, the materials still put us quite a bit higher than mass market and that's aside from equipment, the considerable space in our house and our time. It is fun though. That's why we do it. If I decide to DIY it will be because I think it would be fun. Lord knows I have enough other demands on my time. I don't need another task.

Yeah, the material for niquid is way less but this is their job. They want to make a good living and I don't grudge them that. Plus there's the simple case of what the market will bear. Price isn't always everyone's chief driver. Ever eat at a restaurant? You could cook. Sometimes you trade money for convenience or for the pleasure of experiencing someone else's craft.

Why does a prescription drug cost $100 when it only cost the drugmaker $1.50 to make it? They have to cover millions and billions of research expenses to develop the drug and get it approved by the FDA. That has to be added on to the price of the drug when they sell it. Let's just let good ole capatalist principals go to work on the pricing. If a vendor is overcharging for what they provide, they will surely suffer the consequences.

Seems to me you're making ...., not juice :p..........
Anyway, all jokes aside, the highest prices are not always the best, its a popularity contest and in the end, no one wins, cause day to day, favorite vendors change. I myself prefer the stuff I got cheaply to the expensive sample pack I just bought from one of the popular vendors.

Totally agree. I just do what works for me. I started out mixing and refilling mistics and then when I went big time with a silver bullet I went with some flavors that weren't cutting it and found I needed the tobacco taste. So I got hooked on a Cuban cigar and at 40ml a week it got expensive since the only place I could find it was a walk in shop that rapes the customer worse than big tobacco ever thought about, I mean true government style here. One day I woke up and that flavor wasn't working out very well or my taste buds finally woke back up but I went back to a old flavor and been DIY ever since. I just wish I could have found some DIY flavors that were close to the mistic or the Cuban cigar. But I have my homemade Granny Got Nutz and strawberry/ Banana and am very happy. Now though I just really don't find the bought juices that fulfilling. Good example is this gandolph or how ever it is spelled a friend gave me his sample bottle and I taste chocolate and something else and don't find it all that exciting, still have it and don't plan on finishing it any time soon.

Sometimes it takes some McGyvering to find phone signal on the highways I drive on delivering freight around this country. If only the cell companies would actually do the more bars in more places jazz they sell the customer on.
