First off I will state that I don't consider myself to have a super fine-tuned sense of taste, but I have enough to generally appreciate the different flavor components in juices. With that said, I can acknowledge that my assessment of a flavor can largely depend on the labeling of the juice and any preconceptions based upon other's reviews/descriptions. This has been the case in the past especially with fruity candies; i.e. I have a hard time correctly identifying a hard candy as raspberry (vs strawberry, cherry etc) if I don't know beforehand that it's raspberry-labeled candy. I find e-juices to be even moreso like this for me. I go a bit crazy with having multiple cartos/juices on hand and it's hard to keep up with color-labeling them. I might vape some mystery juice/carto and although it may taste generally pleasant, I can't place the exact flavor. Then I'll figure out what juice it is and immediately the flavor "settles in" and seems to actually taste better. I find this psychological component very interesting.
