G'day Trox.Shawn.
You are not alone on the leaky GLV3 feed system. I believe it is a design flaw, to do with the feed pin.
I have fixed it with mine (glv3 5v)
I did intend to post video, pics and a writeup describing the problem and the fix. But in the time I've been here before, during and after my wait, I have realized it is not acceptable to post anything that may be construed as criticism.
The GLV has potential to be legendary once some bugs are ironed out. I've had my GLV almost 3 weeks now and am almost 100% happy with it (after some corrective tweaking) But something you pay for up front and wait almost 3 months for should arrive functioning at 100%

Dave,
I am sure your help would be greatly appreciated by many of us with the wet battery issue. It's not that it is unacceptable to post criticism, it should be constructive criticism that may help Jay out in the long run.
I try to keep in mind that, for the most part GLV is a one man (yes, woman, baby and dog too) show, and not a large manufacturer of mods. With the many people that purchase these and the many varied ways of use I am sure there are things that come up that maybe, just maybe, Jay is not aware of.
Are there flaws? Yep, but nothing that outweighs the good.
I have a first run GLV3 and am quite happy with it. Does it get juiced a bit, yeah, but it beats dripping and driving.
I think Jay would appreciate the fact that you have found a fix for this and it would be great if you shared. You can address faults without being mean and I am sure we would all agree that in addressing problems while bringing a solution is an awesome way to tackle difficult issues.
I hope you all have a great day and a better tomorrow!!
