Doing most liked usually ends up being whoever or whichever poster has the most friends wins. People pm each other saying "vote for me". Although I would love to win this juice cause I'm sure it is great,,, I'm out

I never have liked those type of contests, either, and would much rather take my chances with a Random drawing...

Thanks spacekitty lol my boy is pure luvs. His master is my mini daschaund and you should see how good he takes care of him. Although he is gentle as can be I feel sorry for anyone that is mean to my mini in front of him.

It also might not work, because in contests, there are so many who don't even look at the other posts. They just mindlessly post away. Even though I'm not in this one, I would much rather see a random.org drawing.

The more I think about it. the more I realize that I would "like" the post by my friends more than posts by people I don't know. I think most of us on here do that. If we have friends we interact with every day, we tend to "like" their posts frequently, even if they are ordinary posts, just to support them. That would give a new member less of a chance of ever winning.

I notice that I get likes from my friends even for boring posts, and I frequently do the same for them. I think it would be more fair to posts the funniest things we find, and just do a random draw.

I really do appreciate your generosity, but I also agree that it would be more fair if this wasn't a contest that would give well known members an unfair advantage.

One of my favorite things is sharing a laugh with someone. A genuine throw back your head or bent over with laughter makes me feel in perfect accord with that person in that moment. It's the best feeling.

I totally understand what you are saying... although I always like a post only for itself... if it's a pic I like or a comment I agree with, or something that just makes me smile and have never really played favorites.

But I must confess that I went back in this thread and 'Liked' every single one... just because of the way it is being judged!!

I think you guys may have a point. I guess I didn't really consider that some people would use there large amount of friends to win the contest. By having others vote on each other's pictures to get everyone involved would make this contest a little more fun. Since this idea has not been well received, I will pick the best picture on Tuesday. But I will be closing the thread on Wednesday. Other than all the complications you all have posted some really cool, and adorable, pictures this week. Keep them coming, only two days left!

Took this picture the end of last summer. I just enjoy nature. Well not so much mosquitoes?(spell check lol) but its fun to explore, and see everything return after a long cold winter.

Here comes the warm weather!! It's so exciting to breathe in the cool air and think of all the great things summer will bring. No more snow and all the grass in the world to roll around in. Not that I actually do that.. *ahem* Then, after taking the time to relax In the grass I'll go to the beach, where the real relaxation begins. Sit down on the soothing sand, listen to the waves, and puff on all natural juice with organic flavoring. No job to worry about, or debt to pay. Just you and the world calmly taking in a breath together.. Anyway, for this contest all you have to do is post a picture of one of your favorite things and like on the ones you think are cool. The most popular picture of the week will receive a free bottle of juice. This contest will not only last this week, but MANY. Each week I will post which bottle will be up for grabs. You can use photoshop or any other picture editor, but no gifs or videos. I know gifs are hilarious, but they just don't fit here. By the way, the flavor this week is Honeydew from the Master's Series.

I'm glad that you took our comments seriously, but it also seems that you will not be continuing the contest on a weekly basis, as stated in the OP...

There really weren't many complaints. Please reconsider closing the contest. Anyone who has a problem with the rules doesn't have to play.
