Hey guys decided to give this a try.

I've been reading through the forum for some time now, and have noticed a pattern of 510 users.

Is the 510 the best on the market, or is there any other newer one that has been released since the 510 came out ? I ask this because it seems that the 510 has been out for a while now, and since i'm buying new on a fresh slate, I would like to purchase the best on the market, instead of the older model and end up missing out on some features.

Any tips you wanna throw in as far as what to avoid, or get, or even ordering batteries or accessories please go right ahead.

But the main question remains on which e-cig is the best one out at the moment, 510, or is there anything better ?

Thanks

Yes there are better depending on what you want and need.

Joye 510 and the KR808D-1 are the most recommended and most supported mini slim ecigs. 510 is very slightly fatter than a cig. KR808D-1 is fatter and longer than 510 and 1.5x the battery charge with standard batteries. You can get the same battery life on a 510 by using the 510 Mega XL batteries but then it is 135mm long as a 3-piece, 130mm as a 2-piece with a standard size cartomizer (that's how I use it - with cartomizers)

However, if you are a heavy smoker, hard dragger of full-strength cigs, or need 2-3x+ the battery charge length, then you probably need something stronger like the fat battery models Ego or Riva 510 (510 based) which have the most selection of power-sucking harder-hitting low resistance parts

If you are a connoisseur of ecigs or want and even bigger hit then you might want to investigate exotic mods, high-power and variable power ecigs

And I recommend manual batteries whatever you get. More sealed, less work, more consistent hit, won't turn on by accident from wind or vibration.

I second and third what's been said. The 510 is great, but the eGo or Riva is a 510 with a bigger battery (longer life and bigger in size) and a better deal. E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings has the eGo kit for $39.99 and the Riva kit (eGo clone but just as good) for $29.99 plus $2.99 shipping. Be sure to click on the 20% off button top left of the home page. Either of those two will be better than the standard 510 because of the battery life. That's what many/most of us are recommending these days for newbies. You can't go wrong with an eGo or a Riva.

Cut and Dried answer...

There is no such thing as Best for all people.

The 510 is a Great PV. I own one and I still like it. But. An eGo/Riva has better battery life and takes all my 510 stuff, attys, cartos, E2 Cartos.

So for me, an eGo/Riva is a better PV for me because I want longer battery life versus size.

Cut and dried?

You will soon learn there are no "cut and dried" answers to very many questions.
But that doesn't mean you can't find what works for YOU to make this whole thing work for you.

All I can say to your question is that the 510 threading gives you the most options.
But there are so many options that you might want to explore!!

At least the 510 gives you all of the options currently on the market.
And it will probably stay that way for quite some time.

So yeah, get a 510 and if you aren't satisfied with any aspect of it, start reading and asking more specific questions.

well the deal on the liberty-flights website is for 2 devices with 650mAH batteries for ONLY 39.99. . . thats pretty crazy no ?. . . you can get the 1000mAH batteries for another $30 on top of that I think.

I was just going to ask you guys for advice on what else to order ?

This kit includes 5 Cartridges. . .I need to know how many more cartridges to order on top of that? how long do they last usually smoking 10 cigarettes a day lets say ?

The cartridges are refillable. You may need 5 more (besides the 5 it comes with) but not more than that. You really need to buy some JUICE so you can refill those carts. Based on your 20 cigs a day, say, you may go through 2-3 carts a day. Remember, you refill them with your own juice. I'd order several small bottles of juice (5ml size) of various flavors in various nic levels (15, 18, 14mg) so you'll start zeroing in on what you like and what nic level will curb your cravings.
