<<SNIP>> I like this revolution thing "OK", to me it doesn't seem to vape very well, but then again, I'm not sure what to expect exactly and its taking some getting used too. <<SNIP>>

So, today I just got my ego-t and I must say, I am pretty unhappy with it. The battery life seems to be great, but it doesn''t seem to want to wick very good at all, had to let it sit upright for about an hour before it seemed to want to start wicking. It came with malboro 24mg which is actually pretty good and, after a total of about 4 hours TRYING to get it to work (batteries were fully dead when I got it too). So, once I got it vaping good I am pretty happy with the vape I get off the carts that came with it, BUT all my other juice is mostly VG and it takes forever to get it wicking (and yes, I tried all sots of things, dry hitting it etc). and when I finally got it to wick with the VG, it tastes like vaping mineral water! I just placed a huge $150 order for a bunch of juices from vaporbomb that are on the way at 50/50 vg/pg so I suspect I'll enjoy none of them now:( Oh, and I swear this ego-t is some kinda fake... the color is this candy-apple red which is unlike any others I've seen and it seems more branded to THEM than ego (it says "The Vaper Pro" on EVERYTHING)... Anyway, 1 of them is vaping well (the one with the original tank of malboro) and I get a ton of vapor now and it is more satisfying than my revolution is HIT WISE, but the flavor is seriously lacking, and now I am reading that ALOT of people seem to be having a lack of flavor problem with these ego t's... Ugh...

Anyway, going on 4 days now and I have smoked 1 pack of analogs in 4 days, but this lack of flavor now is gonna be my undoing if I don't solve this! Anybody have any suggestions?

P.S. "Monster" flavor from The Vapor Pro (it says "Wicked Vapor" on the bottle) tastes like ...! I mean, literally it tastes like the air freshener they use in a portable toilet at a campground mixed with the liquid found on the bottom of a dumpster behind the frathouse at a party collage! I mean, NASTY! the wierd thing is, it SMELLS good (not like monster, more like some mixture of citrus) but the taste was horrific! This is depressing too, cuz its the one I was really looking forward too the most. Oh well... (Lighting an analog now:(

From what I can tell the Revolution is a KR808d1. That was my second PV (my first was a 510). I really like my KR808d1. Yes, the battery life is not the best with the KR808, that is why I love my PT. I use my batteries when I'm away from my computer and they serve me well.

This may not be an issue with you, but it took me a while to figure out not to drag on a PV like an analog. Dragging on a PV is a much slower, controlled drag. Once I figured that out, the TH, flavor and vapor was what I had been expecting (more analog like).

I have an eGo T on its way to me, so I can't speak to your problems with the tank, but there have been several threads on here about the problem you describe with the tank. You might want to do a search of the forum and I'm sure you'll find those threads and they should give you some possible solutions. But, if you can't find a solution to the tanks that works for you, the eGo has 510 threads, so they are compatible with other 510 threaded items. If you find the tanks too difficult to work with, you can use a regular 510 atty or the eGo mega atty with carts. You could also use it with eGo cartos or even standard 510 cartos.

You had me LOL with your review of that juice. SO descriptive. I just kept thinking of a port-o-let.

Try not to be so hard on yourself about smoking analogs. You'll quit them once you find your vaping groove. It took me 2 months to quit analogs after I started vaping. And any decrease in analogs is a good thing.

Hang in there enigma. I was going to go the ego-t route but opted for the "ego". I hear if you get the low res tank atty...it's better than the kit one. If someone can clarify more, I think it's better TH and flavor. But then again there are some that says there's no difference. Like people have said the ego uses a 510 connection so you can try all sorts of options you think would work.

If you want more of a TH...you're better off with more PG than VG. For mixes it's usually 70/30 or 80/20. I'm currently still looking for my "goto" flavors since I've started (last week) and researching can be overwhelming.

My first real PV was the eGo-T too. I can't say I've completely given up on it but, it's not the holy grail either. I would recommend that you pick up a few 510 atomizers, a pack of cartridges, a pack of Boge blank cartomizers (not LR), a drip tip and an eGo cone. That won't set you back very much and you'll be able to vape just about any juice with one of those. The drip tip is especially handy for trying out a new juice. You can get all of this at Liberty Flights.

Lately, I'm dripping around the house and using cartomizers on the go.

Re: the tank. I had terrible luck with the original attys. Dry burnt taste and no flavor (never had the leakage problem). BUT, the LR atty for it has made a world of difference, 10 days on one atty, huge clouds of vapor and flavor is almost as good as direct dripping. I'm using 100% PG and 100%VG and both are wicking just fine. I'd suggest getting yourself one of the LR attys just to give it a shot before you give up.

There are "fixes" for the above mentioned problems, but I bought it to save hassles, not add to them, and these last 10 days have been pretty much load and go. The problems are really poorly QC'd attys, one of my originals died in 2 days, the other just wouldn't wick properly. The LR attys I got from Cignot are great and I couldn't be happier with it/them.

One caution though. If you get it working well, don't let anyone else try it (I let my wife take a few shots). So now I'm waiting on another set to replace the one she "appropriated" from me :)

OK, so... like I said before.... money is sorta no object for me when it comes to quitting smoking (though I don't really have a lot of money) so I went ahead and just placed ANOTHER big order, this time with cignot (this place seems to continually come up as a reputable place, so I went there). I just got a whole 510 kit, plus some LR atty's for the ego-t, plus all the stuff to convert my ego batts over to a regular ego that uses 510 stuff, and some drip tips, and extra carts and atties for everything I own. Alltogether now I have spent close to $500 on this stuff, but WTH... I went to bed last night and for the first time I can remember I did not wheeze (sp?). I was actually able to sleep incredibly well! I took some huge deep breaths, and while I can still feel the effects of smoking, it was INCREDIBLY better than I have felt in YEARS, and I have only been vaping for 5 days now!

The thing of it is, even as a baby and throughout childhood I had breathing problems and was treated with a vaporizer to clear my lungs which allowed me to breathe better. So, I believe I am actually benefiting not only from eliminating the SMOKE but the vapor I think is actually helping to clear my lungs! I even coughed a few times last night and it was unlike any cough I've ever had... it felt GOOD, it felt PRODUCTIVE and it did not have that normal wheeze/burny/stretchy like feeling in my lungs/chest/throat.

I smoked about 4-5 analogs today and it is really pulling on my chest and made me REALLY NOTICE just how bad cigs have been treating me, so I am super motivated. If I can just get a good flavorful vape I'm off cigs forever! And I know with the combination of crap I've bought I'll be able to achieve that. I am ALMOST there now...

Anyway, thanks for everyone's help and support!

Good to know it's helping you for the better! Hehe I bought my 1st kit from cignot too! Vicky is really helpful and nice. Just last Thurs my p/t battery shorted and she sent me a new one and today I had a bad atty and she's sending another to me too! I'm glad I still have the other parts or else I'd probably be out getting a pack to tide me over.

Hehe for me that's a lot of $ but like you said it's helping you and you once you figured out what works...you can see if your nephew would like to try it again with your spares or even sell them.
