Just about had a heart attack

Really, my heart just skipped a bunch of beats.... I went to my profile and chose a 'friend' and sent her a message, or so I thought. The next thing I know it said, Visitor to Visitor and showed my message. Does that make it PUBLIC, and if not, why doesn't it just say something like, 'your message to....". I'm still worried. Can everyone see my message?

Just took care of it for you. I copy and pasted your message in a PM I am sending you now so you can send it via PM to your friend instead of having it publicly posted...

Thank you SO much for doing that so quickly! Now my heart rate is down to about its normal rate. Not that I said anything I wouldn't want everyone else to read.
