I quit smoking pretty much cold turkey Jan 2nd of this year from fear from my ENT (it was kinda a forced thing) and I think if it hadn't been for that I would still be smoking today. He wanted to scare me and indeed he did just that!
So I went for just about 6 months with basically no cessation products except for the nicotine inhaler that is a RX product...I hated using it because it burned my throat and I really didn't get anything out of it. So I stopped using it and just suffered...it's been a long 6 months! Well things have slowly started to get better for me but I couldn't get rid of the hand to mouth motion that I could no longer do, I was really missing blowing smoke, etc
Finally I tried the e-cig, received my first kit from Blu last Saturday. All I did Saturday was charge the batteries and the pack, I was scared to actually try the product because I didn't think it would work like it works for everyone else. So I sat here staring at it all day/night Saturday. Woke up Sunday morning and forced myself to try it and I was blown away! It actually worked! It actually did exactly what I've seen it do on all those youtube vids, etc...the vapor creation was just crazy...I sat here and laughed for about 5 minutes because I was so amazed at what I had just experienced and I knew this was my answer to what I've been missing all these months.
Currently I'm using NON-nicotine flavors since I've been without for 6 months now but I might try adding a low dosage...who knows. With Blu I'm using the cherry crush and vivid vanilla flavors...when you open the pack to pull one of your smokes out it smells so good...the taste is pretty good and the smell is even in the vapor that you exhale...it's just really crazy! I also ordered a Magma kit from Volcano yesterday because I decided I wanted a more advanced kit with the option to drip/tank and ordered me a bunch of flavored liquids as well (all with no nicotine)...got me some cotton candy & bluewater punch flavor e-juices and can't wait to get the kit to test it out!
So just wanted to give a quick review for these things for people on here who have been trying to quit or want to quit. Don't hesitate to try these things, sure they might not work for everyone but I tried everything before this and nothing worked or gave me the filling I was missing...UNTIL I TRIED THIS!
