with the auto-refresh feature disabled there is now an annoying side effect when using f5 to refresh a thread page.
a post that was posted already is showing up again in the reply box.
a forced refresh (ctrl + f5) does take care of it but still ...................

Closing this thread so that new ones are created that reflect today's glitches and onward, only. All the glitches from yesterday back are now history.
