I think I've hit a glitch.. or something

I'm not sure what's going on but the forum seems to be freaking out for me.. is it just me or is it a server issue? On the thread areas it'll show that there's been a update on a thread but when I click on it the new post(s) won't show. If I reply to a thread it'll accept my reply and if I search my posts I can find it but opening/refreshing that thread will show the last post as the person that I'm posting after and nothing beyond that. I already tried clearing my cookies and all that but it isn't helping. Any Ideas?

The same is happening to me. I have to go to the new post and than refresh the page.
It must be the server,if both of us are having this problem.

I can see that people have replied to this.. but I can't see who or what they said (forum search just says 2 replies to my post) Nothing I can think to try is working.. can someone PM Me? I know I get those in my email when they come through.

Rejoice is right, you need to keep refreshing the pages of the threads & each section of the forum boards you are on to see any updates.

Same here plus I log on, go to general discussion then it shows I'm not logged in, click back, I'm logged in, the bold doesn't go away once I've viewed a thread, etc.

Well now refresh is working for me at least (if I do it like 6 times back to back) I wonder what's causing the problem. Hopefully with this thread the Mods & SJ will be aware of the issue.. maybe they can do something about it.

Yes the moderators know and are in the same boat your in till SJ can look into and resolve this. the easy work arounds are turn off you browser cache function if you can also do a refresh or reload of the page.

OMG! What a pain in the .... this is!

It is now 4:30AM EST....and it's still the same way. Doesn't look like it's getting fixed tonight. Sorry guys....but we're all in the same boat

Just a quick note, it seems that the forums software is not forcing a refresh at the appropriate times. This may be the unfortunate side-effect of an attempt to serve cached pages when possible to reduce server load.

I'm sure it's fixable in the vB software.
