Just another new guy

Greetings from Atlanta, Georgia! I've been lurking around for a couple of months now and decided to say "hi." Also, this seems like the right place to share my story:

I tried vaping for the first time about a year ago. I had been smoking for about 4 years then (I know, that's like no time at all), about a pack a day. Saw a disposable and thought I'd try it out. That didn't work too well for me, and I went back to the stinkies for 10 months after that.

Then, a few months ago, a friend of mine got me to try his eGo-C twist. It was amazing. I ended up ordering an eGo twist with a Kanger MT3 tank, which I am still happily vaping on. It took me until a couple of days ago to get rid of analogs for good, but I can now say I am analog-free!

You guys (and gals) are awesome and this forum is the greatest source of vaping info on the Internets. Happy vaping and I'll see you around!

Hang in there & stick with it! If all else fails you may need to up your nic! It helped get me through!

Hey TheWD, have you tried a higher nic juice for those times you need a analog? I am sure you can get away from them.

Welcome to the forum! Got a question for you. I have the twist also and was wondering how your battery was doing?

My battery seems to be holding up just fine. When I dial up the voltage, I get somewhat shorter battery life, but that's to be expected (Ohm's law and ll that). I get /really/ OCD about cleaning it before charging though. It also seems like the tanks I have are a little on the leaky side. Oh well, more experimenting for me!

I highly recommend having a backup, if you guys don't already have one.

I have two backups of both batteries and tanks, and a plentiful assortment of juice. I do appreciate the thought and it's great advice for myself and anyone else new to this stuff

Yes I have, and that's what I've been doing for the past week or so. I haven't had an analog in two days. I just need to keep it up now

Yep, I have a backup for my backup. I /really/ don't want to go back to analogs, and I figure I'm better safe than sorry.

Your story is really similar to mine, Want to quit smoking and start vaping.
I had purchased an "analog" a couple years ago at the local store, but then couldn't get the refills and then went back to the "stinkies" lol

Then a couple days ago came upon this forum.......and am researching all the endless possibilities

and the rest will be history
