So i have been following the Vapor Flask V3 DNA40 Clone thread
Vapor Flask V3 DNA40 Clone thread | Page 206 | E-Cigarette Forum
for some time now, awaiting the day my SXK VF would come in so as to comment on the thread. Come to find out i could not post there yet. So I will post this here now and again there soon.

Just came in. it is great with a few quirks, the issues i am having seem to be the same as many others like @TheBloke have been documenting so well.

I believe this is the 2nd run SXK VF, @TheBloke can you confirm?

Battery Caps Do not line up when fully screwed in, but my screen also cut out when i did screw the cap all the way in on the battery beneath the screen

I unscrewed it just a little bit and now it protrudes just a hair, but is still secure and lines up now

First impressions about the finish are great. It is not a finger print magnet. The finish is a mate black, seems anodized. After ordering the black i became worried about the threads and the battery fit. No such issues for me, batteries slide in and out easily. The batteries caps screw on very easily for me, no need to push too hard or anything like some others have reported.

It does ask me if it is a new or the same coil.

As you can see my ohm reading seems a bit off. The ohm meter below is brand new also from FT. Not sure exactly how accurate it is. From the picture below though it seems like about .07 low

This is the device with the Kanger SubTank Mini with a .5 ohh OCC

again seems about .07-.08 off

Just wanted to share some of my experience with this device. Will continue to update as i do more with the device.

I don't have an Ni wire yet but will be picking some up soon.

I have the exact same mod but in silver. I got it from fasttech too and can tell you that the resistance readings are off. It does read about .08 ohm too low I've tested with two other ohm meters. With ni200 coils it reads about .06ohms too low which is a painif your aiming to build a ni200 coil of about .12 ohms it reads too low on the mod.

Other than that its pretty good works well in wattage mode but i'm yet to master temp control on it. seems to hit temp limit very fast at 420f but if you turn up higher or up the purity setting it will burn the cotton if your wick starts to get a little dry which defeats the object of temp control really. Also it doesn't boost the wattage at the beginning so you need to set the wattage higher or it takes too long to ramp up the heat.

I have the same one from FT. Seem to be having trouble with it. Was working fine initially now the watts is jumping all over the place - when I'm in standard mode. So even though I've set to 25W when I fire it drops to 8W and stays pretty low. Any ideas what might be happening? I actually tried pulling out the batteries to (hopefully) reset and started working fine. Then left it for a while and now it's back to power jumping all over the place. Hope there's an easier fix than pulling out the batteries all the time!

I received my anodised aluminium & touch feeling black SXK 60W and I absolutely love them - super nice design and feel great in your hands! I am, however, having a strange problem and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this...

When I attach a new atty the resistance reads the same ohms as the previously connected tank and doesn't ask if a new coil has been attached. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Try removing the atomizer and press fire a few times so it says check atomizer and then put the new one on and it should be fine

Thanks for your suggestion - I checked centre the pin on the mod & I don't think the spring reset & pushed it back out again and it thought an atty was still connected even though I'd removed it. I pried the pin out a bit and it seems to be working ok now. I'll keep an eye on it... BTW, is there some way to adjust that pin?
