So i just bought a mini 2.1 here of the classifieds and i'm pretty pumped. Comes with RM2 as well. Just had a few questions.

1. Can you recommend batteries and where to get them?
2. coil and wick recommendations?
3. Best deal on an ohm reader?
4. This doesn't have the sub ohm upgrade how hard is it to do that?

I was about to warn you about exceeding the AW 18490's amp limit until I looked it up. It's rated at 14.5A. Pretty surprising.

Also my preferred coil for me personally is 28g kanthal at 1ohm. I use this on my minis and my grand. I use the Koh Gen Do cotton for the wick.

No need to look any further than AW IMR 18490 3.7V 1100MAH from RTD.

My new Mini is rocking with a 28ga 1.0 ohm micro coil and CC wicking (CelluCotton). I've done sub ohm coils for a long time, but now days it's all about flavor to me so I match the build to the joose's I will be vaping the most.

Usually around $20 almost anywhere.

Personally I stick with the 18490 batteries; the 18500 compress the spring too much IMO

Welcome skinny30 Skip the ohm reader there for amateurs get voltage meter and you can leave your atomizer on your mod to check the ohms . This will save your mods 510 connection and go easier on the gaskets in your mod and save you time . Another bonus you can check your batteries .

I think I figured that part out. Is a voltage meter the same as a multimeter? If so how do you tell resistance using those little prong deals. Sorry electrical noob here

RTD has those also. They have wires instead of the screw on part for your rda.

I would suggest going to RTD for the batteries and a Multimeter. If you want the Sub kit right away order from Rob and pick up 3 feet of each size wire and find out which you like best then order in bulk. Two stop shopping. While your on Robs site pick up a couple of springs, a couple of RM2 screws, and a couple each of the 1x10, and 1.5x10 o-rings. Congrats on your Mini and welcome to the mad house of happy vapers! So how do you test resistance on the rm2 with those prong deals?

Put the leads together and check the ohms remember that number. Then put one lead on each post on your RM2 subtract the first number from the second number and you have your resistance. Easy peasy.
