Hi Everyone,

I have had a Skycig starter pack for around 2 weeks and am running out of cartridges.

They seem to be very expensive to replace compared to ones you fill your self and they don't last that long. Works out around £2.00 per day I think which is boarder line what I spent on roll ups!!

Think I may have brought the wrong one.

What do you recommend I should get if I cut my losses on Skycig.

  • I want one that looks like a real ... as much as poss.
  • ideally with the charging pack.
  • I can fill myself as it is cheaper.
  • ideally with real cig taste flavour.
  • Good throat hit is a must
[/LIST]

Saw the Liberro one below, is this any good or a rebranded skycig!
Buy Liberro™ Realis Electronic Cigarette Realistic All in One Starter Pack | Libero shop - £35.00.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a little overwhelmed with the choice

Thanks!!

What I found for my "real as possible" cig experience is what my husband found for himself. A white 510 (or whatever model) auto battery with a red led. Kits usually come with 2 batteries, 2 atomizers and a charger. You can't really find a juice that tastes like a cigarette, well, because you burn a cigarette and inhale smoke. There's no juice that duplicates this but when my husband bought a simple dekang USA mix from madvapes, his response was that it was the most like a real cigarette that he'd tried yet. Tobacco juices will taste more like a tobacco cigarette smells before you light it, if that makes sense. The throat hit on that juice is good, IMO.

With that said, you're not going to find an ecig that is exactly like smoking burning tobacco. It doesn't exist. I know that's what I wanted when i started but very quickly moved on to something else that has no resemblance to the way a cigarette looks or tastes. :)

Thanks for the reply, I will look into the 510 but still would prefer one that looks like a real ciggy. Anyone tried the Liberro one

If you can stand a black battery I think you would enjoy this the most:
510 Mega Cartomizer Kit

Otherwise find a supplier that ships white batteries and brown cartos. Really you should be looking for a 510 since that is what is used most and easy to get parts for. The mega batteries that you find are long but otherwise not too bad, and give you 40% more capacity then the smaller batteries.

While you are looking for a new option, you can probably pop the cap off of those skycigs and refill them yourself or find cheaper cartos that would work with them. I'm not experienced enough to know the different thread types, but I've seen people post pictures of the threads and others can often identify them as' x' thread type.

Oh and theres a pretty cool site e-cig-reviews with has tons of great info for newbies like me. I think theres a sub category called super minis which resemble cigarette looks.
From what I hear though the battery life on these type of e-cig is not too great.
But again I am pretty new to this so I would probably take some advice from the veterans! lol

Ive got an intellicig and a 510. I use the 510 at home and is by far superiour to the intellicig. However I feel more comfortable using the intellicig in public. I dont buy the carts off them either I just reuse the ones that come with it. Put some new filling in and top up with the nic fluid you like. I think the fluid is whats difficult im still searching for one I really like.
