So I already had the vivi mini nova, and I wanted to add another carto to the collection. I ordered this one:
Vision eGo Clearomiser - Cloud 9 Vaping

The thing is, it doesn't drag very well, it needs a bit of effort to drag it, and the juice tastes a bit burnt. I'm using it with my eGo twist, and I've tried varying the voltage from lowest to highest. Also I've tried different juices to see if it was a problem specific to juices but its the same for all of them. Any advice?

I use these in my rotation all the time. They look pretty much the same as the ones you've linked to. Having said that, they are likely made by different manufacturers and the devil is in the details, as I've found out in my vaping journey!

My experience has been they do not like high voltage, but they deliver a very nice vape at lower volts, so it's never been a concern for me. Flavor is a bit muted compared to a Boge carto. They can get gunged up pretty quickly, depending on the juice. They will significantly darken your juice over a few refills. They can be dry burned seemingly forever, so I do it often when needed. They are very dependable, though they can leak at the battery connection after a long while.

On to your issues. Yes, they draw tighter than a carto, but it's not normally so tight it puts me off. If yours is really tight, which did happen to me once, have a look at the underside, where it connects with the battery. There should be a sleeve in the center which has a small groove cut into it. Using very small needle nose pliers, gently work that sleeve towards the battery. It should not take much movement to make a big difference in draw.

As for the constant burning, make sure you have a clean coil. You probably know this, but JIC, here is a video showing it done. I take off and re-install the silicone sleeve with my small needle nose pliers. When you install the sleeve, seat it with the drip tip and do not screw it down hard, just enough to make a seal with the sleeve.

Hope this helps!
