Start with 30 or 32 guage kanthal wire. You can get it very cheap on ebay at around 100ft for 5 bucks.

Wicking materials:
Cotton-cheap/relatively easy to work with/bag lasts you forever
SS Mesh- harder to work with, cleaner vape, the price is meh
Hemp-Have never tried it so I can't vouch for it but I have heard others tried it and it's eh
Silica-I recommend starting with this, it's very easy to work with but it can be on the pricey side compared to others, a 50ft roll will cost around 15 bucks. It wicks good and is in 98% of clearos and clearo
tanks so you have already been using it.
Ekowool-more expensive but provides a cleaner vape than silica imo
I personally like organic cotton the best, read up on cotton builds and how to prepare cotton fully if you don't purchase organic cotton. some cottons have a dye in them that you have to boil out along with other chemicals.
Start with standard wrap
coils and go from there, micro coils are a bit harder to work with and will take some time to get it down pat.
Get an ohms meter. It's literally something you will need when building. They are pretty cheap for what they do, 13-20 bucks on average. A DMM (digital multimeter) is also a good idea but that's more or less once you start building more complicated setups way down the road.
I would assume you are going to be aiming for a higher ohm to start with (1.5ohm+) which is a great vape btw! Just make sure you batteries can handle the load(your build). Do some research on here and read up on safety as these are not regulated batteries. If you push them too hard with low ohm builds you will realize quickly that the few horror stories you read can and will happen.
It's very easy to build, hopefully I am not overwhelming you with information. But this is required. Just like driving a car you need to know the safety first or you will crash.
