Get a good battery like the Sony VTC5. You'll probably need at least 2 or 3 unless you dont mind waiting for your battery to charge because cloud chaser coils eat batteries for dinner.

Make sure you have a reliable way of measuring your resistance. Find something to wrap your coils around like a 5/64" or 1/16" drill bit, or screw driver, etc. Coil wrapping comes with practice, but try to get each wrap as tight and as close to each other as you can.

Dual or quad coils are typically a cloud chaser's coil of choice. Build as many coils as you need and double check your resistance before ever firing your mod. The lowest I go personally is 0.2 ohms, any lower and you're starting to risk battery failure. I typically stay about 0.4 ohms though. I recommend staying around 0.7 ohms until you get the hang of rebuilding.

Once you double check that your build is safe, place it on the mod and fire it until it gets red hot. Take a pair of pliers and squeeze the coils together until they're tidy and glow from the inside out. Take some cotton and feed it through the coils, put like 8 drips in and have a vape. Go for VG heavy, or max VG juice.

Remember, be safe. A 0.4 ohm build is already 34 watts of power in your hands. If you have any uncertainties, ask us first.

It's all about power to the coils with maximum coil to wick contact. I've tried numerous builds trying to find that one that suits me best. I've built all the way down to .1 ohms before with dual parallels. I'm currently running 24 gauge dual coil 9 wraps on a 5/64th drill bit. I used the sleeper build style of wrapping both with one solid piece of kanthal. You wrap your first coil then wrap your other coil with the excess that goes through the positive post. It's difficult at first, but gets easier with practice. I'm at .24 ohms wicked with 100% organic cotton yarn. Since it's a solid piece of kanthal it heats up really fast for .24 ohm build and vapor production is surprisingly good :vapor:

I have had good luck w/ 28ga X 10 wraps on a std large paperclip (1.2mm I think) @ 1ohm. Dual coil @ .5ohm then I wrap celluctton/rayon (if u havn't tried this stuff TRY IT. got mine at Sally's Beauty Supply) or plain cotton around the outside of the coil 'dragon/chimney' style. The wicks seem to hold a bit more juice for me like this. Here's a vid \/ \/ \/

*** Its a good idea to start a log w/ all the info about what ga wire, how many wraps, what diameter, and what resistance you got from the coil. Then you have a record to look back at and improve your builds.
