I'm going to pick up one from my local b&m this week. I've been using my aging VTR for over a year with protanks I upgraded with air control bases. I'm getting tired of lugging around that block of metal and the weight of the subbox is nice.

you`re going to love it i bet! i went from protank 2`s and kayfuns to kanger subtanks and got the subox when it first came out and the protanks and kayfuns collect dust now. they were just a part of the evolution of vaping.

It really hasn't been a problem for me. The 510 has worked with all of my toppers with no problem. I love the USB pass-through I can charge and vape in my car.
Be cautious using the pass through, it's really risky, as the battery has incoming amperage and outgoing. Overload the battery and it goes boom.
Pass through is one of the highly frowned upon features in any mod.

I use Pass trough a lot on my Innokin Devices and never had a problem. I also never heard of one "Go Boom"

Well that might be your opinion and your more than welcome to it however the "pass through" in my book is a highly sought after feature and is about as dangerous as using your cell phone, ipod, ipad, laptop or just about any other modern electronic device with this same feature.

If your battery is to low to fire the device the 'pass through' won't do you much good until the battery has enough minimum charge to fire the device but unless your "chain vaping" having the device plugged in will eventually put more energy in than your taking out while vaping.

Some/many of the dual battery and/or higher powered devices skip this feature as it adds cost and their target audience are more likely to simply swap batteries than scramble for a charge cord. (and wait. 'Standard' USB charging is limited to 0.5A @5V while external chargers can charge at a much higher/faster rate)

I had a cigarette relapse for over a year and decided to start over with vaping. So I bought a subox mini and cleaned up my provari and vivi nova. I really really like the flavour and vapour on the subox. I might get another kangertech tank after I run out of vivi nova heads.

The only thing is that when I fiddle with the adjustable air hole, I also inadvertently loosened something and then the subox was leaking through the air holes. I tightened everything and now I get no more leaks.
