Just built my first coil

so this noob decided to build his first coil and it was a success!

Having just a acquired a Phoenix v6 dual coil rda I was severely disappointed with the included coils. I watched PBusardo on youtube build his first micro coil and thought to myself "looks easy enough." And it really was!

8 or 9 wraps of 28 gauge Kanthal was close to 2 ohms, add some cotton as a wick and I was finished.

I put many drops of MBV pineapple in it until the cotton was thoroughly wet and wow! I didn't like this flavor in an EVOD, it tasted like perfume and barely smelled like pineapple. However, in the Phoenix it actually tastes and smells like pineapple. Even in my 510 atty it wasn't this good.

Looks like I just got a new hobby to spend time on!

I made my first micro coil today as well! It took all of fifteen minutes and (just like you) I found it far easier than it looks!

Thanks to the "Vaper's Toolbox" app on my phone I didn't have to guess how many wraps to do and it came out exactly what I wanted at 2.0 Ohms!

I'm no longer a micro coil building virgin! It's a whole new world....

Congrats to you both.... I tried to find that app on the App Store but I guess it isn't out for the iPhone......

Same thing for me. Should have just scrolled down the thread before getting sad at the App Store. :(

OP, glad you have made your first coil! It really is so much fun! (And easy as pie!) Mmmmmmm . . . now I want pie . . .

I have the app on my Android tablet but I didn't use it for this first build, I just copied what I saw on youtube. I will put some more thought into the next one after seeing how easy it went.

It would be nice to have an iOS version of it since my iPhone is always with me. The tablet is always somewhere other than I need it to be
