Just built my first RBA!

Got it working on my first try! And nothing exploded! Soo much nicer.. goodbye cartos!

Was a Brass Reomizer, so pretty. I understand they are slightly modified rba's of some other brand? Have been watching youtube clips like mad but I welcome any tips! Got 1.7 Ohm coil using 28 guage kanthal wire. I accidently dry hit and burnt the cotton on my first attempt getting a little too excited but seems no harm done and vapes quite nicely compared to the boge cartos I had been using with my Reo Grand for the past year. Still much to learn, but what an improvement!

You'll get the hang of it. I trust you have a meter to check your coil before firing? Once you get it down, you can play with the ohms and adjust to find your perfect spot. It's really quite fun to do. Congrats on your first build!

Your post takes me back to when I first set up a REO and RM2. I was so amazed at the flavor you could get out of a that combo. You are all set now...All that is left is to relax, enjoy and dream about your next one.

RBA's were a game-changer, indeed! Nowadays I only keep a spare carto in my golf bag, etc. in case of the unlikely event that a coil goes bad when I can't replace it. Congrats and enjoy!

BTW, I still use cartos on one of my VVG's, I love cartos. Mainly because of the aesthetics of Reo with one on it.

Congrats to you and I was glued to his video too when I first wrapped mine LOLOL! And just did my second one Friday and hit 1.0Ω again...sqquuueeeee! So much fun isn't it?!?!

If you burned the wick, change it It is so cheap you cannot calculate a cost!
