Gave up waiting on njoy to send my NPRO...it's days overdue, so I drove the 70 miles to the nearest TA travel center and bought the NPRO...My first few drags gave me a mouthful of nasty liquid...After that, it seems to work OK...I get good vape about half the time...and some drags seem to be harder than others to get anything and there is a gurgling deal going on...Is that normal?

I am committed to quitting cigs for e-cigs...At this point, it's hard for me to tell if this will work because I haven't been starving enough for nicotine to see if these e-cigs will satisfy the urge...But I intend to exhaust every option.

So far so good, but frankly, this NPRO, using traditional light flavor, tastes like feet that have been soaked in beer...Do you guys recommend a particular flavor or juice?...And what is the best way to top off with juice and where can I learn how...As I said, I don't ever want to my cigarettes again, so I'm open to ideas

I am ordering a 901 from puresmoker...Just to see if the experience is any different.

Honestly folks, I'm a pack a day smoker, do you think I can satisfy that habit with e-cigs?

Yes you can. Both my wife and I were 1.5 pack a day smokers and the day we started ecigs is the day we quit analogs. There are many people here with a larger habit that have kicked it with ecigs.

The important thing is not to put too much pressure on yourself to quit immediately. Many folks here have slowly made the transitions over several days or weeks and that has worked for them.

Don't get discouraged and make the transition at a pace that works for you.......

Hey...Thanks for the encouraging words...I'm definitely willing to try...It was cold turkey or e-cigs...I really think I can make this work...I'm liking my NPRO more and more as the evening wears

I was 2 packs a day for over 45 years. I took the first pull on my NJOY and never touched a cigarette again. When I ordered, I ordered e-juice from another supplier. The e-juice arrived first, so I started on the juice right from the get-go. Loved the taste. I tried 1 analog cig about 1 week later. Took one drag, almost tossed my cookies, and flipped it out the car window. Hope you're as lucky as I was. Although I have backups, my NPRO is still chugging along since March 13th.

Smoked for 25 years. 20+ roll your own a day. Started E-cig no reg cigs. Been doing this for over one month. I do not want to smoke and have told myself that e-cigs are the only way I will get my nic from now on. Have tried a few sample packs and other juice. Janty brand is my fav right now. Cash and JC are good. Janty my be my fav, because it is all flavors I like and picked. Good luck and enjoy.

Njoy starter kits and pre-loaded carts now available at Kangaroo Conveinence stores in northeast florida. They had a stocked display on the counter right by the register at the store I was in. $69.99 for starter kit, and i think it was $16.99 for a pack of 10 carts. Menthol, strawberry, vanilla. Very cool!!!!

You'll pay a bit more in the retail stores, but you'll get the product in your hand immediately. And if you need carts in the middle of the night to tie you over until that package comes, they're there.

I am in the same boat. I smoked 30 to 40 cigarettes a day. I hope this works for me. Since I was buying two packs a day for $5 a pack I figure I have a pretty good budget to deal with this. I have bought the 901 and 801. The biggest problem I have had is the batteries. They only last a hour or so. I bought the usb thing. Hopefully that gives a more consistant hit. I have visited 4 smoke shops looking for liquid and they all say they were getting the ecig soon. If this takes off hopefully they will improve.

I will tell you this. Today was my first full day with my NPRO. I made it the whole day with no real problems. My nicotine fix seemed to have been met with this thing. For whatever stupid reason, I smoked a couple of analogs this evening. Didn't have to, but I did. I now know I can make this work if I want to. Just going to have to throw the analogs out and make it so.

Don't worry, I'm doing the same thing! I just got my first e-cig today, and while I've definitely liking it and can feel the nicotine effects, the second I get up from my computer/couch/whatever I automatically start heading outside for the tobacco even though I don't have the nicotine craving at all. I'll probably have to smoke all my old analogs first before I fully switch over, if anything just because they're there.

Hi Vinny,
I just started today, myself. I used a prefilled cart, and had the same experience, first couple of puffs got liquid in my mouth, then it seemed to work just fine with no more juice. I've been pack a day + for 35 years, and I'm very determined for this to work. I hate coughing and I know analogs are killing me. I think we may get cravings for a analog, but hopefully with the e-cig, we can push those out of our head and just stick with the e-cig.
I had a great experience with puresmoker, got my order in two business days, wow.
Best wishes for great success on e-cigs.

Ive been vaping for about 3 months now and went from 40 analogs a day to about 3/day in the first week. Remember its not just the nicotine that your body craves it really is all the other crap found in a tobacco cigarette. So if you can't quite give up the analogs in the first day, just don't beat yourself up, I'm sure you're doing great and will be smoke-free in no time!

I absolutely LOVE my super-mini even considering I have to top off regularly, the shorter battery life etc etc. I'm comfortable using it and the topping off is no more fuss than searching for my lighter that I always lost and fumbling for a cig out of the pack. Finding the device that you're most comfortable with and a juice flavors (or many) that you really like is key to sticking with it :) Good luck!

Thank you, mastervapor!!

I live in Palm Coast, and have a Kangaroo right on the corner of our sub-division.....guess where I'm going today........always could use a back up while waiting for my other kits to come in.

See, when I started vaping, I had no intention of quitting. I got mine because I wanted to be able to smoke while I played poker and the majority of the tables are now non-smoking. I quickly realized I like these BETTER than analogs and just phased them out and BOOM, accidentaly I was done with cigs. I have no desire to go back. It was ALOT easier than I thaught it could ever be.

I found it was easierfor me not to go back to analogs if I kept a pack in my desk, car, & house. I never carried them on my person, but I knoew they were there if I should "need" them. Thankfully I never did, but the security of knowing I could have them, made it easier to to give them up. As I sad in an earlier post, take it at your own pace. I think going from what you were smoking to only 2 analogs in a day is a huge success.

Good Luck!

It doesn't sound normal, though I've never tried the NPRO. Sounds like the cart's overfilled - you'll pretty soon get a feel for how much fluid it can hold, once you've refilled/topped off a few times.

I am committed to quitting cigs for e-cigs...At this point, it's hard for me to tell if this will work because I haven't been starving enough for nicotine to see if these e-cigs will satisfy the urge...But I intend to exhaust every option.

If you want a really nice tobacco flavour, Tennessee flue cured is the most realistic flavour I've yet tasted - but you'll have to experiment; one vaper's favourite is another's foul stench. Get plenty of small bottles of different flavours, and then buy bulk of flavours you like (saves you getting stuck with lots of liquid that's not to your taste.) And be aware that flavours with the same name from other suppliers can be very different (TW's French Pipe is very different to Eastmall's French Pipe.)

And what is the best way to top off with juice and where can I learn how...As I said, I don't ever want to my cigarettes again, so I'm open to ideas

Check out Spikey's video - it covers everything you need to need (the link is stickeyed at the top of the New Members forum.)

Yes. How easily you make the transition is something you'll have to wait and see. Some people find it effortless, others have to switch gradually. As with so many things in life, YMMV. Don't worry if you have the urge to smoke analogs still - smoke them, but cut down. Keep cutting down until you're down to none - you can do it, and it doesn't matter if it takes a few weeks or months. If you want to do it, you can.

Good luck, and enjoy your vaping!
