Hello, been browsing this forum since I stopped smoking the coffin nails last Saturday. I bought a vape kit from liberty flights and I'm very happy with the experience so far. I was a 20 a day man for 17 years and did go through hell for the first 4-5 days. Feeling better now and loving trying out all the flavours. The goal is to get to 0% but in time, there's no rush, currently switching between 1.8 and 1.2 and vaping around 3ml a day. Im probably right in saying that I'm not getting near the nicotine I was but I'm after progress so I'm happy!

Welcome.

I'm surprised you didn't go in a little higher, then the pain would have been easier.

Anyway, you are well under way now. I'm down on 6mg these days and even 3mg at high power. I can go half a day before I get twitchy.

Liberty Flights make me twitchy, but that's another story. (I refuse to use them).

Vape on!

Some people have a hard time giving those stinkies up and you can do this. But do remember one thing and that is if you fall off the wagon ( So to speak) don't beat yourself up over just get back on the wagon. I fell off the wagon once and that was because my dad almost died in the hospital from a major heart attack and my batteries died and I had nothing else but my moms cigs ( my mom still smoke) Yuck.
I Only had 2 cigs that 14 hour day and as soon as I got home I never touched another one. I was very lucky as I didn't have a hard time switching maybe it's because I know I had to do something as I have Asthma and COPD. I have been cig free for over 2 years now. Good luck and just think you will feel better and smell much better.

Welcome, and good luck. I've gone back to coffin nails once since I started this two years or so ago. But I got off again, and I always feel better. Welcome to the group, and you'll find a lot of support here. We're glad to have you.

Aww, thanks everyone!

I realised quite quickly that the juice I got was a bit weak but a wee bit of suffering is nothing in the grand scheme of things. It's just sleep that's bothering me now. Fell out of bed last night lol! The moment I knew I had to stop came when I had to miss ten minutes of Fleetwood Mac to have a smoke. I'm also a type one diabetic with two young daughters so its probably quite important long term. Glad to be here :)

Superb! Thanks, I have ordered some juice from a couple places, mist have some half price deals. Hopefully it's good :) I find myself getting bored of a flavour quite quick, and some I just don't like (tobacco, surprisingly :p) so good to have a list of cheaper places til I find my feet.
It so beats stopping smoking, as I said in a previous post, I'm T1 diabetic and cold turkey wrecked my control so bad I was nearly in DKA (really bad doodoo) so it was this or champix. And champix sounds like devils pee.
