I started vaping less than a month ago and can't even picture going back to light-um-smoke-ums.
I've tried a few analogs over the past few weeks when I wasn't feeling quite satisfied with my e-cig and honestly couldn't get more than one puff down before I threw it away,
Tonight I only got so far as putting one in my mouth and reaching for the door before I realized I really hated the taste and didn't want to do it,
I'm doing good,
Thanks for asking,
(oh,,,45 years of analogs before this,,,over a pack a day)

I'm loving vaping so far. Been about 3 weeks now. I actually started smoking less and less over the past 2 years and even got down to smoking on weekends when I was out drinking and socializing with friends. It came to the point I even wanted to stop that so I got into vaping. The only problem is I think I am addicted to it! lol I now vape everyday instead of smoking analogs on the weekends, but I am sure I am still ahead of the game and doing the right thing.

I think I have to start weening myself off nicotene. I am currently vaping 18mg and just ordered some juice from vapables in 11mg strength. My goal is to go to 0 nic. Question though....is there a difference when smoking 0 nic juice? Does your body react differently and does the flavour change? What about throat hit?

6 weeks for me and Mrs dopeh, smoked 23 years. Couldn't be happier, couldn't be easier. We have eGos and REOs. WTG on the converts! I'm working on my parents lol

Zeus, if you find that 0 nic lacks TH, try menthol drops in your favourite juices. They're cheap and effective. I wasn't a menthol smoker but do find menthol to have the strongest TH when vaping. Now I put that .... in everything..

Going good here, too! I've been full time vaping for a week, after putzing with it for about a month and a half earlier. I'm still on that learning curve but I think I'm zeroing in on what'll work for me. Congrats!

dopeh, good advice on the menthol! My experience is to include it for a better TH (I didn't smoke menthols in the past, either).

You'll get the cool fresh taste inherent to menthol, but it doesn't really have it's own flavour. It doesn't go well with everything, but almost. For example if you like to vape bacon I can't imagine cool+fresh being complimentary lol

It's amazing with any fruit or tobacco, also good with coffees, teas, and most sugary juices. I can see redbull being good. Probably like drinking redbull while chewing some icy gum. Regardless, nothing gives TH like menthol, so when nothing else satisfies (we all have our moments) menthol is the savior.

Thanks, yeah, I'm doing ok. I am like a lotta folks. I started with 510's, then I got the eGo T when I became frustrated with the cart system. Overall, the T is doing well. The better performance of an eGo batt on the 510 atty got me to thinking....NEED MORE POWER!!!! Wow, a bigger battery makes a difference. Which leads me to doing an almost disgusting amount of research on the big batt mods....

AND THE PROVARI! Congrats on getting one! You have a great Missus there!

I don't have one yet, but I do believe it's going to be next.

I might start a new thread on it if my forum search doesn't get me there...but I've been trying to figure out what a good juice feeding system will be for it. I was really excited about the VapeMate but was turned off by having to squeeze the filler bottle a lot. Then I discovered the tube mod for it, and now I may want to try it, after all!

I'm interested in hearing about your "nice little bottom fed mod 3.7v" and how your journey with the Provari is doing as you go along.

@clipper,
im pretty cautious really
dont let the forum persona fool you...

im also very new + got off on the appropriate foot.
i have done my fair share of reading+have not stopped
the people with the knowledge should shine thru!
this is a very new industry+will change quickly....

as far as moving forward with devices and all the
hoopla that goes with...dont fall into the spending trap!
my personal choices are based on what works for me+expense!

ie,i am set up with 510 threads so i lean that way
multi devices w/same fit. (ego equalled ego-t for example)
also i tend to multi task both w/work+vaping!
i know im set for awhile+will save more money
not returning to reg. cigarettes.

the 3.7v fed mod is a slapped together cheapo
nuttin special ,works but thats it,nice vape +inexpensive
(helped+pushed me into understanding mods+frugality)
and i use this w/my go-to work ego-t.
(sorry, i have no camera+still learnin to load various data here):(

on the provari,
even if im capable of learning modding myself
i needed to rely on a fool proof devise for keeping me of the "nastys"
the wife thought both of convenience+gift(3mnth success+$$ saved)
its a larger expense ,but even in short run here ,
i am happy to say this has brought my vaping expeirence up more than a couple of notches:):)

just on the super-t-manufacturing company itself
these guys are top shelf from what ive read and seen!:2cool:
there original pv's are still being held in high regard+are well sought after!
they were high end even b4 conversion to ecigs!

anyway im off....
i hope this helps?:)

there is a lot of threads on all of this and of course
i cant recall a single 1 :(

this is only my story,opinion+2cents:facepalm:

If you are interested in something that is reusable and holds a larger amount of liquid I highly recommend the 2.4ohms map tank mod from clouds of vapor. Since I received mine a few weeks ago I have been loving everything about it as it holds 5ml of liquid and produces great throat hit and vapor and also has the best flavour I have ever had as well. I really like that I just having to fill it up go worry free for hours if not the whole day. I was also considering buying a vapemate before I got the map tank but was having troubles with the idea of spending $60 on it even though it probably does work really good I didn't like the idea of having to squeeze it constantly either and also don't like the idea of adding the bulk it would bring to any of my P/V's. With that said i still might crack and buy one down the line if i come across a used one or one that does not have a perfect finish from Super-T's at a discount as I know they pop up once in while.

These are very good points, Vapo! I agree...for me I'd like to stay with 510 threaded stuff because it'll work with what I have already. I have done weeks on end of reading these forums so that I *don't* have to spend too much on the equipment.

I guess I'm like a lot of new vapers...I just need to keep slugging along till I find something that'll work for me. That said, I'm still open to finding a self feeding multi-millilitre device for a 510 family PV. But I'll find it, with persistence.

I'm glad you're off to a good start with the Provari! The only reason I was thinking of it over the Super T mods is that I'd like to have some more flexibility with the voltage. Otherwise, they are beautiful little machines.

Vape on....

Thanks for the recommendation; I appreciate it! I was wondering if the map tank would be a good thing to get since it's built with a cartomizer atty. In your experience, how long do they tend to last?

AWWW, thanks! Starting another year, but without cigarettes is a great feeling! :smokie:

I think I'll be checking out those map tanks, too. I'm not sure, but I thought the last time I looked at them, they don't ship to Canada. I gotta double check.

just a thought clipper,:)
maybe check into the variable voltage pv's
it may save you some money in the short+long term?
notcigs.com has 2 decent 1's
the buzz is a 3,7v+6.0v i believe,
and is highley recommended
plus tried+true...

and their new 1 is the infinity
that may be right up your alley also?
very stylin.....
they offer a decent warranty too

check both you-tube reviews+here on ecf! :)
for a few more?
both classified sections are good too !
