I was recently googling different methods of coil wicking, one of which is the bowtie method. I'm sure most of you already know of this, but possibly call it something else. I'm not sure how or why, (maybe someone can explain) but this method is so damn efficient. I can easily get 30+ 3 second drags off my RDA. From my experience the best way to juice it is to do a few drops of liquid on the top, and then fill the juice well under each coil. Yes, I do get a bit of juice in my mouth here and there, but it's worth it. No more dripping and driving!

I started using this wicking method recently, and it's really working out well. I skipped through the video a bit, so I'm not sure if he showed it or said it, but the key is keeping a good amount of space under the coils free of wick for better airflow. I usually saturate the wick in e-juice and take something pointy (a spudger, screwdriver, or toothpick) and push the wick away from the underside of the coil. The end result is a ring of cotton that goes through the coil without touching the outside of it on the top or bottom.

I don't think he showed it in the video, but yeah I keep my coils just slightly above the positive post hole so there's plenty of room underneath for some extra juice, and airflow as you mentioned.
Cool, thank you for posting this because it was a new one for me. :) Love learning new things.
No problem, glad I could help :D
