Just discovered what the Protank "Beauty Ring" is for! D'oh!

Well, as this is the new members forum and I'm relatively new to vaping I suppose I may not be considered completely stupid (if you're kind!) - or perhaps I may be anyway - but I've only just discovered what the Protank 3 beauty ring is for. D'oh! For a couple of weeks now I've had my Protank stuck on top of my Evod VV battery - great flavour/ vape by the way IMHO - but with a rather weird appearance and a tendency to wobble slightly (or, if tightened down, risk pushing the battery pin too low). It was only through reading another thread on this site that a comment someone had made in passing made the lightbulb come on in my head! That's the great thing about this forum, I'm learning so much (and enjoying it!)

It's actually more than for beauty. It also supports the tank on ego type batteries so your not a likely to damage a thread if you drop it. It gives some extra support.

Yes, I found it really helped steady the tank (which used to rock slightly otherwise) and I've not had to prise the battery connector post back up again since fitting it as it prevents over-tightening the tank (in a vain attempt to stop it wobbling!). Much better.
