I just wanted to go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Kim, I'm 26 and I was a pack/day smoker for 5 years, until I learned about vaping. In Jan 2013 I switched to an ego and recently upgraded to a Vamo v3 with a Kanger 2 tank, a few months ago. Now, I can't even imagine smoking regular cigarettes. vaping has been quite the experience so far, even though I would like to eventually transition to mech mods and building my own set ups.

Cheers!

My Protank is a 2, and not mini.

Ahh the mod. From all the threads I read Provari has quality and duration, but it doesn't have watts or a nice display (IMO provari fans, step away from your pitchforks). Being in Europe (England) I want replaceable batteries, and kit that will laaasst me, as using the black market for more may be a drag in the future: there are lots of clever bans on the way here to keep us in the tobacco and pharma loop.

So maybe mech, with a 10year supply of wire and wick. Maybe an MVP2 until Provari make something I want. Dunno really mate.

Welcome aboard Kim! :)

Hiya,

I want to be where you are. Just over a month here, and still with my first batteries and little evod tanks. I do have a Protank, but it looks a little odd on the skinny batts, so it's in it's box waiting for me to decide on a mod.

Nice to say hi amiga.

I got a "beauty ring" for mine from my local B&M. Discount Vapers carries them, among other shops online.

Great success story Kim and high five.
Thanks!

Yeah, IMO the Provari mods are built really well (I had the pleasure of using a friend's for a day) but they cost a pretty penny. Man, that sucks they are in the process of coming up with bans there. If you know what you are doing, mech mods can be great. I was looking into the MVP 2 before I got my Vamo, but ultimately decided to go with the Vamo. The deciding factor for me was the MVP 2 could only go up to 5v and the revolver type adjustments as opposed to the +/- buttons when changing watts or volts. That's just my reasoning though, those might not be a big deal to you. Anyhow, good luck and hopefully you'll get something you enjoy!

Hi Kim, I was a pack a day smoker for 50 years and now smoke-free for the last two months thanks to vaping. Best thing I ever did healthwise! But now I'm going nuts with building coils and buying mods! Good luck!

Pete
Wow, congrats on quitting! Building the coils and buying new mods is half the fun though! :) I like taking things apart and putting them back together though.
Welcome aboard Kim! :)

Thanks!
