just got 510 and some questions

so I got a 510 on advice from this board and I like it so far. i did the straw mod for the cartridges and have been refilling them. I must be doing something wrong though as I keep getting the taste of liquid in my mouth, like the thing is leaking or something, am I overfilling the cartridges or something?

Overfilling is the most common way that you will end up with juice in your mouth. The straw mod can be tricky. I prefer the Shredded PTB mod as its easier.

I have gone for the blue foam mod on my cartridges and found that that gives me a good vapour production without getting liquid in my mouth....

it seems to work well, with no nasty taste

Don't store the 510 cart down. I've seen that recommended by others but I found it just lets juice and vapor sweat flow down into the mouth piece.

I just got mine yesterday and I used the blue foam filler and it has worked good for me. (not sure if im doing it right, but it works) Thus far I think i made a good investment in my lungs future

Drawing too hard can also suck juice directly into your mouth. Long, light, steady pulls usually get people the best results compared to slam dragging on an analog.

yea, it is possible that I am pulling too hard. I just stopped regular cigarettes two days ago.

I have the same problem with juice getting in my mouth and it really burns and taste horrible.

I just started dripping with 3 drops on wick and so far it's been working pretty good.
