Just got 510 from Ruyan now!

Oh the huge manatee! I am charging it up right now, anticipating how awesome it will be at around 10pm tonight. Going to charge it the way that the instructions recommended and then see how it goes. Going to watch all of the newbie videos sometime today to make sure that I do everything correctly. I'm so glad that all of these videos are here.

Looking forward to my first puff, will let you know how it goes! I'm happy to share so hopefully others can also benefit from the information and also decide to try these!

Don't wait! Try it NOW! I'm sure you got enough power in at least one of the batteries to give it a try. It won't hurt anything if it's not fully charged and you only have to wait until the charger light changes from red to green and it's done charging. No need to wait 8 hours.

Oh yeah? It was red when I put it in and it's only been on there like a couple of hours and is already green! Well, seems like it is blinking green, not sure if that was in the manual. I'll go ahead and watch those videos here soon since I should try it out soon. There was a situation where a friends dad works and I can't seem to get ahold of my friend, so I've been a little busy trying to contact him. ><

Thanks for letting me know that I can use it sooner without hurting it! I'll do some more reading when I can and see how it goes!

Yep, that's all it normally takes to charge. About 2 hours. Some chargers start blinking from red to green when they are almost done and solid green when they are done, some change gradually from red to orange to green. But once it's green it's not charging any more not matter how much longer you leave it plugged in.

Alright, and I assume that like most devices, it won't hurt it to let it charge longer? Like if I put one on before I go to bed?

Alright, trying it now and it makes a air type sound, but I assume that is normal. Trying one of the prefilled carts that came with it, not too thrilled about the flavor, tastes nothing like Marlboro. I'll still vape it though since it came with it.

I was the type of smoker that usually took a lot of smaller type puffs, unless I was aggravated or something and took bigger ones. Using the inhale it into the mouth then take into the lungs after it's been hit method.

I'm so glad that I bought a bunch of carts and the cappuccino flavor to go with this! From what I read, I just vape this cart until there is no more vapor at all coming out of it, if I understood correctly. Not feeling a ton of throat hit on this high nic, but I was smoking full flavor generic piece of crap cheap analogs all day, so I will probably become more used to it, I'm sure. Watched some videos and will be sure to watch some more!

If you're not getting a decent amount of vapor make sure that cart filler looks wet. If not add a drop on the atty bridge & a drop or two in the cart or until it's wet without puddling. Ya don't want to run the atty dry.
Also it's said that 510's require a break-in period, sometimes a full day before they start producing at their peak.
I've always had good luck from the get go on my 510 attys.

The off marlboro flavor could also be a little primer juice in the atty. I'd say use a drop or 3 of that capp. in your cart & see if the flavor gets better...I'm sure it will. Prefilled carts never seem to be topped off.
FYI. Marlboro flavors NEVER taste like the real thing. And never vape it until dry (no more vapor)
As soon as either the taste or vapor production taper off, top that cart off & continue.

I'm a new user. I just got my 510 last Wed. I did have to take hard draws in the beginning to get good vapor, later that day it was effortless. The same happened when I started using my second atty. so it does seem there is a break in period for atty. performance.

Thanks for the replies, I may just go ahead and pop this cart off and put some Cappuccino in it. I figured that I would probably have to break the pv in, though it probably is partially me since I usually didn't ever take big drags off of analogs.

I'm trying to get used to hitting it harder, but a little nervous that I may try to hit it too hard and hurt it. Though I am not sure that's possible since when I see reviews it looks like you guys are sucking in so hard that the insides of your cheeks are touching together inside your mouth!

Have a friend that is going to check it out later or tomorrow probably when he comes over, so hopefully it can't be hit too hard or else he probably will. When I put the cart in, I didn't actually hear it click, but I pushed it down as far as I could, took me a few hits though since I was a little gentle with it at first then realized that I should push it down a bit more with some small amount of force.

Cart was for sure full when I put it in there, I actually spilled a drop on myself and was like wooooah there it is. I noticed that I barely ever hit this thing, just having it in my hand or having it hanging in my mouth helps a lot and I think that because of the way the throat hit almost seems to linger, it's making it so that I don't have to hit it even nearly as close to as much as an analog.

I guess that I am mostly just nervous to mess it up since I don't have a lot of money, you know? It took me an hour or two after it charged to get over being nervous and actually put it together and try it. I'm such a goober!

I have also went to Moobyghosts video blog and watched a lot of his stuff. Looking forward to trying the Lipton Pyramid cart filler mod. I bought a boatload of carts with my pv, 40 extra carts. But I am starting to wonder if it would save wasted liquid to go ahead and start using the teabags. Just seems like you wouldn't end up losing as much liquid that way from it being stuck or something? I just lost myself there, I'm not even sure what that meant. ><

Also going to have my friend look into the DIY e-liquid with me, since he knows a good bit about biology and chemistry, which would make me feel a lot better when I try to work on doing whatever it is that you do. Going to go look at those threads now.

Son of a... I can't figure out how to get the cap off of this 30ml bottle. ><
Good Lord, finally got the cap off after cramping and making my hand numb. Not sure exactly what I did to make it come off though!

You'll get the hang of vaping soon and will start to enjoy e-cigs more than analogs. It takes a while to learn just how to use the pv to get the most out of it, but when you do its all good.

I feel it being a little warm, but nowhere close to being uncomfortable. I wasn't expecting the air sound, the almost hissing sound. Was strange to me.

Edit: Oh my gosh, I just put in 5 drops of Cappuccino in on the Marl cart that was already in there and there is a huuuge difference. Much more hit, much more vapor, and a lot easier for me to hit. I know that the original cart was pretty wet when I put it in there, but maybe the stock liquid is just crap and not like the additional liquid that is sold? Cappuccino flavor is lovely, even though it's been dripped into a marl cart.

Update: Must... stay... awake... friend coming over after he gets off of work so I can show my pretty new PV to him! Going to let him hit it some and try to convert him since he has been expressing interest in quitting smoking. Though right now he major gripe is: "I don't see how smoking that thing could possibly be cheaper than smoking real cigs". To which I have fired back with how little it cost me to get all of the stuff that it did, like the carts and the liquids, and how it's very cheap to do the teabag mod. Also still trying to figure out the e-liquid DIY, getting a little lost in those threads. I am too scared to try to make one with nicotine in it, so I would probably want to make a nice flavored one that has throat hit with 0 nic. Any suggestions to a specific post that would have a "Chemistry for Dummies" feeling to it would be most helpful!

To my understanding, you can leave the thing all together in one piece like it was when you were smoking it, just do not leave it with the end you put in your mouth facing south, or downwards. It'll get the juice all over your mouthpiece perhaps. But that is ONLY if you are using a MANUAL battery. I would assume that you neeeed to take apart an automatic battery when you are done.

I could be wrong though, I do not know if they cart would dry out overnight or not, maybe someone else can answer that with 100% certainty.

I understand this won't taste like camels ( particualy since it is 0 nic) but I can't believe it is supposed to taste like this.

I blew the attys out (some oily film cam out of both of them) before using.

Any break in tips?

It takes some experimentation to get 'your' most effective draw technique...I have come to a slow longish mouth inhale with the 510 and pullback to throat at button release, then a slow mouth and nose exhale. Much of the flavor coming on exhale through nostrils.

Mine sucked till I refilled the original cart that i put in with some of that Cappuccino e-liquid. Have you refilled it with anything yet? I suggest that you get a flavored type of liquid, after tasting the stock Marl that came with the 510, I don't think that I will be getting any real cig flavors. My next purchase is totally going to be Cinnamon.

I'd say that I used mine for a couple of hours then filled it with the liquid and then it all became very lovely. Been puffing off and on for 8 hours now and I can't believe the difference between the way it is now and the way it was in the first 2 hours. Just make sure you put some new fresh liquid in there, that really made mine come to life.
