I like it, but I don't LOVE it......when fully charged the vapor is great. I guess I consider myself a somewhat heavy vaper.....I notice after about an hour the led will flash as if the battery is dead....But then it keeps working (with slightly weaker vapor)... then about 30 min later, it blinks again....then it keeps working (with even weaker vapor)....then an hour later it blinks again and it's dead. I notice it gets weaker as time goes. Honestly, I feel like I'm only getting an additional hour at most than from a regular battery....Anyway, does anyone know what the flashes mean?

That is odd with the multiple flashing. Once it first starts flashing it should cut out and not continue to work until recharged. But you really shouldn't continue to use it after the first flash - you should recharge it. Running it low will shorten the battery's life expectancy and it could also gunk up your atty faster.

P.S. The regular batts are 180mah and the megas are 280mah, so you should expect ~50% better battery life.

Well

The other mega battery came in the mail Saturday; I charged it and the same EXACT thing as the first one. I also discovered why the mega battery is dying so quickly. I can be vaping, lay my e cig down on the desk, pick it back up to vape some more in a minute or two, and the atty is blazing hot and I can hear sizzling; I push the manual button again and it stops. The button itself isn't stuck down or anything, it just doesn't release sometimes and I have to really watch this and it does this on BOTH of them (how freaky is that??!!) I've gotten to the point that I'm watching/feeling to make sure it doesn't do that again, and when it does, I stop it; thus the battery has lasted longer, but no seven hours/not even close. The most I can get is three. They both do the blinking thing 4 times before the battery ultimately dies. When charging it does take about twice as long to charge as a regular battery.

Over here Tornado's (eGo) are only a little bit more expensive than mega batteries which much much more capacity £13 vs £15, multipacks of five cutting that difference in price by half again £45 vs £50 - you'd need an adaptor to use in a regular 510 charger and probably a cone but those are small one off expenses. I don't know why anyone would buy mega batteries now.

Kinda sounds like you got a bad one Mark the only flash you should get is when the battery dies. It does take a couple charges and days to get them broke in though.

How can a battery "break in"? It doesn't make any sense that a chemical reaction in the cells can get "better'' or "learn" how to be the most efficient before a normal life...

Well............I've figured out what the problem was......These mega batts blink when you take too long of a draw.........which I was doing becuz I could barely get any vape from one of my suck ... attys......I've somehow revived an old atty and the mega battery is lasting a long time now...........but there is a defect in these or some of the mega batts...U have to really watch or they will get suck on and NOT turn off and the atty will get blazing hot.....it even melted my cart (the part thats inserted in the atty toward the bottom)
