just got a reo mini used... need help

i can't feed the tube thru the cap!
i wanna try this out. what's the trick to get the tube thru?
i been at this about an hour now!!!!

Did you try lubing it with some e-liquid?

Push and twist the cap. Just try not to pull the tube. Or else your gonna have to superglue it back on.

And if you can, get your fingers around the top part of the tube, to hold it steady, while your twisting the cap up the tube

Then cut an inverted "V" in the bottom of the tube and you're golden.

I twist mine in from the top and pull it down to the correct length (just above the bottom of the bottle).

So why do you cut the bottom of the tube?
And what is a reducer tube?

Their website doesn't have descriptions so I am a little bit lost.
Or maybe not lost just a bit confused.

Cutting an inverted V in the tube helps prevent it from suctioning to the bottom of the bottle. The reducer is used on ultra thin juices.
