Now, I've only been vaping for 4 1/2 months, but I HAVE been exercising at least 4 times a week for the past year (30 minute run, 20 mins of weights). Today, my lung function test showed that I have the lungs of a 38 year old. Which is good, because I'm 38. The last time she did the test (last November) I had the lungs of a 58 year old. My blood sugars are in non-diabetic range, and my blood pressure is normal. My doctor is not known for her bedside manner, but she was absolutely elated with the state of my health. All smiles and compliments.

Thank God for vaping, and for this community - without which I would not have known how to even start vaping. I mean, I knew about the cigalikes, which is what I started with, but I had no idea how to upgrade, or what to buy to make vaping work for me. Thanks everyone for your help, and your support.

this is serious.....by February, you'll have the lung function of an 18 year old....by next June, your lungs will be in a Pre-embryonic state! you better start boozing and hanging around with loose wimmens before you get too young to even like gurlz!

Nice! Does your doctor know you vape? Regardless, great job :)

YES! I forgot the most important point - I told her that I was vaping and she was fully supportive. She even said, "Well it IS new, and they're still doing research, but the most important thing is that you're not getting any tar and other nasty chemicals from the cigarettes. My friend has one that he wears on a lanyard and just hits it whenever he wants. It's awesome. I cannot STAND the smell of cigarettes, it makes me sick, but the e-cigs don't bother me at all."

She also noted my non-smoker status in my exam report. :)

This is an awesome success story ... now if only I wasn't too lazy to exercise!
