Just got me eGo ... Battery charging question

I charged mine until the light turned green on the charger. Just what it said in the lil instruction book that came with it. I love this thing and its helpin me get rid of the analogs. Im not quite a full time vaper (still smoking a couple analogs a day) but its working.

I think I have now found the sweet spot with it to. DRIPPING! Its much easier that using the carts with filler and blah blah blah. No mess, no gettin in on your hands, and not gettin juice in your mouth! 2-3 drips right on the bridge of the atty and your good to go for about an analogs worth of "smoking" time.

... Been vaping on my Riva since day one right out of the box, no pre charge or anything... Both batteries work great and last at least 12hrs before the blue led starts flashing, then back on the charger.

Have an eGo and yes it rocks. My concern was to have backup batts in case of, say knocking it into the toilet...almost happened btw, took a lucky bounce off the ts and onto the floor. So I was about to order the eGo clones that Tasty Vaper was selling at $15 per batt and $3 per cone.

But I couldn't get Riva off my mind since watching a video (didn't know how this related to you, huh) by CRK "I am that guy........" demonstrating a Riva. So pulled up VaporJunction and what'll know, a Riva sale. Batts for less than a buck more than the eGo clone, kit of 2 for 49.95.

Don't get me wrong, I love my genuine Joye eGo's, but just wanted to see what all the Riva raving was about (the extra 100 mAH and the bling thing with the lighted button didn't hurt too). So I ordered platinum and black Rivas today to back up my eGo's. I hope my eGo charger works w/ the Rivas...anyone know?

Note: First time order from VJ and I am totally impressed...my Riva's were in the mail less than an hour (51 mins) after placing my order!!! Unbelievable!

First off, thank you for letting me know the the lowercase 'l' in lkin looked like an I. Fixed.

I go overboard to on this stuff. When it comes time to replace your case check out puresmoker.com. They have one that looks very similar at a better price and free shipping.

I am so ticked off at myself because I forgot to get cartomizers on my last order. I still have not tried them so I don't know how they compare to the regular setup.

Which do you prefer?

Hopefully you have it by now, I ordered it Sunday and got it Thursday. If your friend pays the extra money let him know its worth it. I am still kicking myself for waiting. I wish I had gotten it when it first came out.

If he still has not ordered, check out the Riva. Its a tough call. I think the eGo looks better and is better made.

Please do not think that I am in any way saying the Riva is cheaply made, but the eGo just seems better made. I can't say why I think that, but I do.

POST EDIT: I'm still torn over my the final part of this post. Wish I could say why, could just be from the way a certain sub forum goes out of its way to trash this product.

CRK, great job on your youtube review of the Riva. I bought a couple Rivas the same day I bought my eGos. Your video helped me to make the move.

As to your decision to buy the Riva, good call!

I got my Rivas the day after I got my eGos. The chargers appear to be the exact same to me. I will have to start a thread to ask to make sure, but I am positive they are.

Later today, or may be tomorrow, I will be posting my initial impressions of the Riva. I think you and CRK will be very impressed. When you get yours, please post a thread to let me know if you agree.
