Just recieved my mini protank 2 in the mail along with 1300 mAh vision spinner, and it doesn't come with any instructions on how to assemble it correctly. I screwed the coil into the base unit and then the base unit onto the tank and the draw is incredibly tight, there's no way it can be that tight for vaping. Am I supposed to remove any of those plastic pieces? Also I have tried not screwing everything down so tight, still has restricted airflow. Any help appreciated.

What is probably happening is that the washer at the distal end of the coil is getting squished when you put it on your battery and occluding the flow.

You can test this theory by lightly screwing the fully assembled protank onto battery and testing the draw. If the draw gets tighter as you screw it down more, then that is the problem.

A band-aid to the problem is to not overtighten the coil onto the skirt; just attach it lightly. Same thing when you screw it in the battery. What needs to be snug is when you screw on the protank onto the skirt.

If that doesn't work, try another coil.

hope it helps!

I have not even put the protank on my battery yet. What it really seems like is that no air can get past the flavor wicks.

I'm guessing that you are putting the coil the opposite way than it's suppose to go.

upside down.

Its the flavor wicks more than likely. Puff on the head without the tank on it and see if it draws well and that will tell you if its the heads. You may have something in the center pipe of the tank. Also since you don't have it on a batt are you covering the bottom with your finger? If you are don't because your finger will block the posotive pin more than your batt will.

I have already drew on the tank with no coil in and the airflow is fine obviously. Why would my coils and my flavor wicks be blocking airflow over anyone elses?

What about liquid; are you putting liquid in the tank? Once there's no liquid in the tank, the airflow should be totally free.

got any pictures ?

Alright, I'm a complete noob to vaping. I put on everything together and put liquid in the tank and attempted to vape. Once you get liquid in, the draw isn't as tight as it seems, so I think that is fine. However, I screwed in the atomizer without the big rubber gromet on the top, and it leaked e juice on my battery. It seems to still be functioning, however if I hold it down for more than 5 seconds or so it automatically cuts out. I also did not put a full charge on it.

Also, another qualm I am having is that the atomizer (coil head) seems to be unscrewing itself.

Edit: Apparently the vision spinner has an automatic cut-off time. That sucks, but hopefully I did not short out my battery.

Yes the batteries have a 10 second cutoff so you don't accidentally fry your pants off when you put it in your pocket.

All common mistakes cjack. I even made them myself. You need to make sure the head is snug in the base or it will work loose once the batt contact gets enough friction to hold the head. Also make sure the tank is tight on the base with the cap seal on the head stem or it will leak. Screw the tank on your batt till it makes contact and add 1/4 turn.

Sometimes the flavor wicks unravel during assy and spread out blocking the sides of the coil where the air flows. Rarely they get stuffed in the sides of the coil. Once they are wet you can take off the top cap on the coil and straighten them out. Just use a pin or tweezers. I've made it a habit of pulling the stem and checking every time I change heads
