Just got my AdapteveR! Can you use Cartomizers?

Just got it about 2 hours ago. WOW! Build quality and looks are AWESOME!!! So far the best looking piece i have owned.

vaping at 6 volt and 3.? volts is awesome! I have a 801 adapter i have been using and will be truing the 510 tonight.

I was wondering, Can you use cartomizers ( the cart and attys that are built together ) with the AdapteveR if i were to order a 901 adapter? I am curious to try them out with this.

So far so good!!! I cannot put this thing down...lol.... I own a Prodigy and DID own a SB but sold off the SB ( still own the Prodigy as it is being repaired as we speak )

I will do a full review later in the week but was curious about the cartomizers with it. thanks!

Glad to hear you are enjoying yours. My AR was shipped out this morning! I spoke with Thad prior to ordering. The current 901 adapters will not work with cartomizers but he is planning to make one in the future. Another option would be to get a 801 to 808 adapter.

Could you post a direct link to which product you ordered? i dont want to mess this up, first time using cartomizers.

also, which cartomizers will work? so i know WHO i can order from and who i cant ( i heard SOME dont work with certain models )

I also recently got an Adaptever, adore it!! I'm currently using it with vapor4life cartomizers, and it's nirvana! Here are some good adapters, including a KR808D (i.e., original carto model ecig) one. Ordered my Adaptever with a 510 insert, so I got the 510 to KR808D:

....a mind-boggling combo at 6V!


If you do have the 510 Adaptever insert, here's another adapter that's apparently good too (if the combo KR808D/901 version doesn't show in the drop-down, goodprophets may still be out of them, but they were expecting more this weekend):

The cartos that don't work may be ones with no slot (a.k.a. groove) across their center pin. Either the carto and/or the battery end of things must have a slot, for air flow. (Vapor4life is the only carto brand I've used so far, and theirs do have it. Which is probably also why Thad's current slot-less 901 insert, which I also bought, does kinda work as-is with these cartos.) But if neither end does have a slot there are some popular, easily found remedies here, including the most simple "staple mod."
