I've been on the waitlist since April, got it in this afternoon. Its pretty freakin cool.

The dna 20 is awesome, shows the battery life (1000 mah), shows the volts and ohms of the coil. The B button fires it, the d-pad controls wattage, the A button doesn't do anything. 5 clicks on the B button turns it on and off. The only downside is the 510 connection is a little angled, but thats not a big deal. You only notice it on an atty or a carto with no tank. When a tank is on it you don't even notice it.

If you want one you can contact the guy on facebook. Litt Up Custom Ecigs or littupcustomecigs@gmail.com

THAT.....IS.....AWESOME!

As a child of the '80's I was in love with Nintendo. I think vaping is the only hobby that's even come close to my video game obsession. I gotta get one of those.

Does it have replaceable batteries? How much? I'm going to facebook now.

Batteries are built in and you need a micro USB to charge it.

That is badass, it speaks to my inner geek. Which is now screaming at me, "YOU NEED TO BUILD ONE". Now its time to track down an nes controller.

Please use a reproduction controller, the originals aren't made anymore and if everybody carves them up for APVs, there won't be any left for retro gamers. :(

I totally plan to use an original controller. I actually still have my NES from when I was a kid. One of the controllers no longer works and I was thinking about using that one. I also found one of those giant original xbox controllers and started to wonder just how many mAh I could stuff in there.

Use the reproductions for gaming.

There were over 5 hundred million Nintendos sold since they were introduced. If each one had 2 controllers that's a billion controllers. I know I had at least a dozen in my lifetime. They all were given away or are still in my closet or parent's attic. There are plenty. They are not gonna be used up by a few hundred or few thousand people turning them into APV's. I have seen them turned into some of the craziest things. They have been turned into cell phones, mp3 players, a computer mouse, i phone docks, wallets, belt buckles, tv remotes. Google NES HACKS or NES MODS and you'll see what I mean. If an APV isn't a good use for them I don't know what is.

While the reproduction controllers look identical to the 80s model, they don't provide the gameplay quality that the 80s model did, so they're crap for any actual gaming. (I'm not referring to the aftermarket controllers ala Mad Catz (which usually also sucked), but the ones created with the original design after the Nintendo patents expired)

Edit: sorry, I didn't mean to derail your thread with my rant. :p

I don't remember the originals working that great to begin with. The buttons would wear out quickly and get stuck down. Most of my NES experience was spend 1 hour getting it to work right, blowing out dust from the game contacts, pushing in the cartridges in just enough to be able to lock them down. For me the later clone controllers worked much better than the originals, but with so many companys putting them out it might have been luck of the draw.
