Hi, just got my first mod PV after having a titan 510T for about a month. oh my god absolutely love it! :)

Anyway my setup is the megalodon with either a 18650 high drain battery or the custom 5volt battery.

I have been calculating power/watts by looking at atty ohms and battery volts. Currently all i have are dual coil carts that are 3.0ohm (final resistance of 1.5ohm) does that calculate to 9.12watts or 4.56watts?? not sure whether to use the final resistance ohm or not

So many questions:blush:
should i go with a medium resistance (+/- 3.5 Ohms) with the 5volt battery?
should i go with a standard resistance (3.0 Ohms) or low resistance atty (2.0-2.5 Ohms)
with the 18650's?

I know to a large degree it is personal preference.

Thanks in advance

With a dual 3 ohm coil cartomizer (overall resistance 1.5 ohms), the load on the battery is doubled compared to if you were using a single 3 ohm coil. So for calculating the overall wattage, you'd use the 1.5 ohm figure (so 9.12 watts in your calculation). It's running 4.56 watts per coil. Dual coil cartomizers can take more overall watts than a single coil, because the heat is spread over two separate physically separate coils.

As for the other questions, I tend to use 1.5-2.2 ohm atomisers on 3.7v. But that's my preference. A standard Joye 510 atomiser is around 2.2 ohms for example, and LR's range from about 1.5-2 ohms. For 5v, I would probably go for a 3 ohm atomiser/carto. Hope this helps.
