Just got my Ego, wondering what I should get for accessories and what liquids to get.

So I just got my Ego from liberty-flights, my first e-cig and I gotta say it's 10 times better than what I expected, I love it.

I ordered some 3ml samples from goodejuice at 24mg strength, I was wondering if maybe this would be too high for me, I used to smoke only about 5 cigs a day. Oh also, should I order pg or vg? or a combination? And when once of the pre filled carts is empty do I just fill up that same cart with the liquids I ordered and how long do these carts last?

So I'm wondering what kind of accessories I should get for my ego to get it's maximum potential and so I don't run out of anything like atomizers.

I've read people talking about switching to cartomizers so you don't need to add drips to your atomizer from time to time, I was just kind of confused why you would need to? Will I need to add drips to my atomizer before the cartridge is actually empty?

Oh and also drip tips, should I order one of those also?

I know this is a lot of questions but any help would be great, thanks guys.

my post somehow didnt post o well... to sum it up what I wanted to say is that 24mg was too high for me and I was a pack a day smoker for 11 years... 18 or less would be better... I also just got an ego its awesome, get a drip tip so that way u can get better flavor from your juices and also try bubas bounty juice from AlienVisions its awesome.

You don't really need cartomizers. Some people just find them easier because they hold a lot of juice. You can use your ego three ways-- dripping juice onto your atomizer, place juice in the cartridtge that fits on the atomizer, or a cartomizer which is a cartridge and atomizer combined.

I don't use atomizers but it's definitely not a bad thing to have extras handy. It's not a bad idea to get an extra battery and an extra charger. If your charger dies, you'll be SOL. If a battery dies, you'll only have one waiting to charge.

Being a diehard eGo fan, here are my suggestions:

Order a pack of THESE to try out. Ya won't regret it!
Be sure to get some extra batts and an additional charger.
Purchase an eGo passthrough (PT).
Also, order sample packs to find a couple of all day flavors. Then stock up during the many sale events.
Then be prepared to mimic my avatar...

So after having my ego for a few hours I've noticed that the throat hit is down to almost nothing and the vapor is less than half it was when I first hit it. I've taking maybe 20-30 pulls from it, is the pre-filled cartridge already empty? I havn't gotten my liquids yet, so I can't drip so what should I do?

the prefilled cart probably needs a top up, drip juice into filler until its "slushy" if you put to much and it "pools" just dab some off with a napkin or cuetip.

Yeah I don't have any liquids yet, it also had kind of a burned taste to it, maybe I'll just open up a new cart until I get my liquids tomorrow.

As soon as u get that burnt taste it means that not enough juice is getting to the atomizer... so that means you have to add a couple drops into the cart but for now just open a new one.. the stock fluid that came with my eGo tasted pretty nasty and sometimes burned my thought... once u get some real juice u will be set... good luck!

Thanks guys, yeah I just opened a new cart and it's back to how it was.

Oh and yeah I just noticed that LF's was in a 5 pack, I think I was looking at atomizers instead of cartomizers, I just ordered a couple of those cartomizers from madvapes along with a drip tip, will the drip tip work with the cartomizer I got from there?

My standard eGo Mega drip tip fits the eGo Mega DCCs.

I think I ordered just a regular drip tip, oh well, I'll just order another one if I like this cartomizer.

you can still use that drip tip on your stock 510 atty... thats wut I do...
