Didn't think I'd like dripping, in fact I bought it as a backup system. But I freakin' LOVE this thing! I get such great vapor production!!!! *happy dance*

It's a red aluminum. And.....I flooded my battery -_- Now I'm afraid to use the drip tip. Help! What the heck did I do wrong. Is three drops too much?
No I don't think so, 2 to 3 drops is what everyone says to do. Hmm do you have an auto battery (like the kind that activates when you inhale?) or is it manual battery with an activation button?
I hope someone experienced with dripping (I am not but use drip tips because they look so cool!) chimes in.

Auto. I don't much care for the manuals. These are supposed to be flood resistant.
After having used a drip tip, I could never go back to cartridges. Better flavour and vapour production, and feeling it start to run out tells me I've finished my smoke break 
As for the auto batteries - I've yet to see an automatic battery that works well with dripping. Especially if you tend to store it vertically in a pocket or something. I suppose if you leave it horizontal all the time it might be ok. I didn't think I'd like manual batteries when I started, but now pushing the button just happens without thinking about it, and I haven't killed a battery or had it misfire at all (one of the auto batteries I had failed in the 'on' position - it wouldn't turn off).

I've figured out how to use it. If I take the setup off the battery to drip, and reattach it once I'm sure it's not leaking, I don't seem to have any problems. I also don't store the tip on the battery. I just take it off. It seems to be working really well actually. No more floods. Nice vapor production.
I'm considering buying a manual though. Just to check it out. $11 is pretty cheap.
Get a manual, you won't regret it. Dripping with an auto battery is pretty much giving you a good chance at ruining it. Even the ones that say they're sealed actually have holes on the side of the threads.
