I am a really heavy smoker, and an university student studying environmental psychology. I have a deal for everyone on the forum. I am currently writing a cumulative paper on the e-cig movement, its political and environmental ramifications, and developing a psychology tool set for grassroots organizations like this one. I will diligently work away at the academics and research of this issue for you guys and my professor, and make if available to you all this weekend. In exchange, someone tell me what is up with the EPuffer Super Mini

sometimes its pretty good, sometimes it doesnt work at all, sometimes it blinks and me three times. There was no user manual of any real substance

I have seen the video of the scotish guy on you tube modifying the intake wholes on his super mini, but we seem to have different models, somehow?

I any case, if anyone else has experience with the super mini I would love some advice, as I am way to busy writing this beastly paper on the ramifications of this super cool technology. I have committed all my smoking budget to this like stick, and would love to get it going 100%.

Is there a reason why you went with this company specifically? because it's based in canada? did someone refer you to this site? I guess what I'm trying to ask is if you'd like some different sites to order from. I'm a newb myself but If as a fellow heavy smoker these wouldn't really do it for me(i use the ego), they don't seem to have any more than just the one battery either, am I wrong? did they send you two so you'd have something to use while the other's charging?

All of the ecigarettes are made in China. Epuffer seems to be rebranding and raising the price like a bunch of other more sophisticated looking e-cig websites. The question is - what model is it really and is it a good model.

Looking at the Epuffer Super-Mini parts section, the charger shape and cartomizer looks to me like a KR style. .85 diameter is (I think) smaller than the diameter of the KR808D-1 and more like the diameter of a cigarette. So it's possible the Epuffer Super Mini is is KR-808A Super-Mini - it is the same 89mm long
KR-808

That is just my guess.

I don't know where else sells cartos for the the small KR808's. The model-specific subforum here does not have a thread for them (it does have one for its longer and fatter brother the KR808D-1 which is also sold brand V4L by Vapor4Life.com).

I'm new to cartos myself (just got that V4L shorty) - I don't know any ways you can make them better other than filling blank ones with juice you like better. Some can be cleaned for more reuses, but they are basically meant to be disposable after several refillings. See videos on Youtube for cleaning/filling V4L cartomizers (should be similar to your but they are for the fatter KR808D-1.

Most people here try to get people to skip super-minis and minis and go right to an Ego (which is a 510 with a really fat battery and cowl) or Riva (I think that's a DSE901 w/ a really fat battery and cowl). I'm not ready for that. I was an obsessive and frequent smoker (1.5-2 pack a day) but not a hot and heavy type of smoker. I smoked slow and easy and enjoyed it. I am using a super-mini M402 (the middle size battery of M401) with manual batteries. It has a separate atty and very small carts. So far I don't mind screwing with them frequently. Sometimes it works great and sometimes I need to restuff a cart or I mess up charging and end up with no charged battery, but it's generally works for me. I also have a V4L kit (KR808D-1) which I think is very similar to what you have but, as I said, fatter (.96mm?) and longer (even with their short batteries) and cartos (combined cart/mouthpiece/atty which I believe is probably similar to your slimmer ones).

Ahhh - if your ePuffer Super Mini is really KR808A then here are some other cartomizers
LeCig 808A-B / 510 Soft Cartomizers

I don't know what to suggest to you though. I think it is best to buy a popular e-cigarette and have lots of spare parts. If you think you want to eventually upgrade to something really fat with long battery life like Ego or Riva then buy the mini model they are based on and in the future you could upgrades your batteries and chargers.

If you want to stick with what you have for now, then at least figure out what it is so you might have access to more varied or cheaper parts, and start buying spares. That's what I am doing. I just bought passthroughs for my super-mini brand and a pair of hefty max 2Amp 4-port AC to USB chargers from NewEgg so I will have better ability to recharge more batteries at work and at home or theoretically use a 1000mA passthrough while I charge 2 batteries (500mA each). I carry juice, PCC w/ extra carts and extra atty. I am doing this because in 2 weeks of vaping I have managed to screw myself out of having a charged battery 2 or 3 times already. Haha. Because I have what is probably the most popular super-mini (M401 based) I can get that stuff several places.

And of I was totally confusing, or even if not, read the sticky threads at the top of the new members forum, especially the Library multipart guide and the videos for Newbies.
