It's a 4nine clone but in 26650 which was dumb of me as I never checked that when ordering, doh.

I think I like how compact a mech mod can be over my ipv2. This clone seems like a pretty poor one though and I want to get something good and thinner (18650)

What is out there which is pretty much a 4Nine as I love it but with a lock of some description? Any idea?

I have a SMPL mod & love it! Very tiny & made in the USA. It's an authentic mod priced at $120. I got the brass one. Here it is next to my Reo Grand. It doesn't lock, but doubt if it would pocket fire. There is a clone that's quite a bit cheaper, but don't know much about it.

Well one great advantage of a 26650 mod is you can use your 18650 batteries with 18650-26650 insulating spacers!

Those plastic spacers ensure that you have real electrical insulation between the sides and the battery and the tubing of the mod, instead of relying on the battery labell wrapper when using a bottom fired mech.

I picked up a slojo mod from FT, button is kind of a cross between a stingray x and 4 nine (put together like a stingray x, magnets with no rice pin, recessed like the 4nine) reverse threaded locking ring, great threads.

The 510 is a little stiff but got my magma threaded down flush then popped the pin back by pressing it down on the work top. It's got a floating pin with adjustable screw for battery rattle.

locking ring has got stuck once or twice but nothing I couldn't loosen while out and about.

I also have a stingray x, 4nine, nemisis and caravela but the slojo is my go to....for now! Love the 4nine too though :)
