Looking for Reliable Clone!

Rather than opt for a clone, I decided that I'd pick up a smok Magneto II as my first mech mod. It is telescopic and fully stainless. smok has upgraded it over the earlier Magneto V1 and V2...you need to be careful to get the "II" version and not the earlier one...it is shorter than the original. It comes in several colors and has a magnetic firing button, spring loaded 510 connector, and reverse locking ring. I picked it up for about $30 rather than dealing with the hit or miss dance from fasttech. You can also pick up an extension tube if you want to Kick it and there is another cap from Smok with an ego/510 connector you can buy if that floats your boat. So far I have it paired with a Dark Horse clone and I'm loving it! I have a .8 ohm dual coil build made with 28awg Kanthal that I built today after the postman dropped it off about 2pm.

I think that I might just go with the copper nemi since it seems like it would be good for starters. I would like to get a magnetic switch also but I don't know how to go about doing that

Good choice. Magnetic washers are $2.40 for a 10-pack at Fasttech. Remove spring(s), install washers (opposing polarity). Done.
