My RIva 510 arrived in the mail about an hour ago and so far I love it! it's easy to assemble and produces a nice full smoke.

I do have two quick questions though:

1) Should I use a different atomizer for each flavor as I test them out or just use one? I'm mainly ocncerned about flavor sticking with a new juice since I still need to find my prefered smoke (though the whiskey flavor from LF is great!)

2) I ordered a 3 pack atty deal from The Vapor room, and it looks like theres a cartridge on each atty, but I don't see any of the cotton or whatever it is that I see in the carts that came with the Riva, should I still fill it or what? lol
This is the link to them so you can help me out.. lol 3-Pack Atty Deal

Thank you in advance :D

Using a different atomizer for each flavor is a good idea, so you can get a better idea of what you like. Cartomizers come in handy for this purpose. The cartridge that came on each atty that don't have the cotton in them is just a blank cartridge you can throw away. You could put stuffing in them and use them if you want.

you did very good to pick a variety pack and your far from a dummy...wish i had done that! even tho the atty and cartridges are fine, i used them for couple weeks myself, it does become a pain somewhere behind, to keep putting few drops and vape again...but again, at first its good because "we just didnt know any better". when you get your fav.juice narrowed down, do yourself a favor and order boge cartos from here: 15 Boge 510 Carto Deal at Crystal Clear Vaping : Cleanest, Purest Unflavored Nicotine On The Planet (cheapest deal anywhere) those 15 cartos should last you over a month...maybe 2. good luck and congrats to quitting smoking!

I'd definitely recommend the boge cartomizers as well...i switched from cart+atty to boge 2ohm cartos as soon as I got my riva 510 and they hold a good bit more juice it seems. Also seem to get a better taste.

Waiting on my watermelon...vanilla..and strawberry flavors to arrive :) will be my first non tobacco flavors

I do not use carts to test juices. I drip with a drip tip and I try to test them in order of how delicate/cloying they are. Tobaccos and cinnamon I would test last. Fruit and dessert flavors first. Many people recommend using a separate atty for tobaccos, one for fruity dessert, and a separate one for cinnamon since it is very hard to get cinnamon out of an atty. I only use atty + drip tip to test juices. Then if I like one I may give it an extended test in a cart. Then if I love it, it gets a Boge carto since I do all of my actual vaping with cartos.

BTW - if you like using the cone and ever want to use a cone over a carto, order a Riva 901 cone at Liberty-Flights.com. The 901 cone will fit on Riva 510 and it is a shorter cone with a slightly wider opening.

Dummy carts can be used as a mouthpiece when dripping if you don't have a drip tip.
